Figured i would share a fun command project for once as a proof of concept command block creation that allows the making of note block music without the need to tune every block placed.I do plan on updating the system. Can play up to 25 notes in one tick. Currently the tempo only has two setting based on redstone repeaters either 1 tick repeater or 2 tick repeaters. They can be set any where within the song with blue or cyan wool respectively. the current system is expandable to any length of song but the current version is hard coded so must be setup with same start point xyz.
The Way it Works:
Program a song using the location of wool placed in a 5x5 grid each place representing one note.

the reader moves through the song and plays each grid at the set tempo.

auto note placer tool - within a book

adjustable section lengths(currently forced to be 34)
needs reset switch

updates:

added pause feature by turning note blocks in the item frames
edited the world to allow cheats in single player (oops should of had that at start)
player should spawn in with a note placing book or you could just use the scoreboard command below to place blocks
/scoreboard players set note np # -# is the amount of click on normal note block 0-24
/scoreboard players step step # -# either 1 or -1 move the read/write head one space forward or back
