Map Name: Xbox 360 TU 14 -1668899441 Bedrock Nether Update Mashup
Map Seed: -1668899441
Minecraft Version Generated in: Console Legacy Xbox 360, TU 14
Minecraft Version Compatible with: Bedrock Edition 1.16.101 through 1.17.41 (Can still be played on later versions 1.18+, but will play as simulated 1.16.100)
Has the World previously been in Creative Mode? : Yes (To place the Border Blocks), but the NBT data for HasBeenInCreative has been set back to 0 with MCC Tool Chest PE, so you can earn achievements on this map. Achievements should not be disabled on the basis of adding borders to a map in my opinion.

Mod Tools used:

-MCC Tool Chest PE:
  • To convert the Xbox 360 World to Java Edition and then again to Bedrock Edition
  • To give myself Border Blocks to place.
  • To give myself Sweet Berries to place.
  • To set the NBT Data HasBeenLoadedInCreative and CommandsEnabled to 0 after placing Border Blocks
  • To set the NBT Data NetherScale from 8 to 3 to match the NBT Data used on the Xbox 360
  • To re-roll values of loot chests to have increased chances of good loot to be on Par with the Xbox 360's Loot System. This was intentionally done before 1.16.100 so Soul Speed has a chance of spawning on Armor in Loot Chests.
-Amulet V 0.7.1.0
  • To add the Bedrock Barrier Walls in the Nether
  • To add a Piglin Bastion with in the limited 284X284 Nether Blockspace.
  • To add more glowstone to the Nether to be on par with the Xbox 360 Nether Generation of it.

Hello everybody!

With Bedrock Edition's release of the Barrier/Border Block in 1.16, I have decided to create a map that somewhat emulates the experience of an Xbox 360 World and bring back somewhat of a Classic Experience. I used my favorite World from Xbox 360 Title Update 14 from back in March of 2014, whose seed is -1668899441. This world has treated me so well over the years and hopefully it will do the same for you.

In the Overworld, Villages are in their older format, so it will be upto you what you want to do with the Villagers, if you want to leave them be, kill them, or update their villages for trading purposes. There are three villages all on the left side of the world in the 864X864 blockspace, two of which are seaside villages.

Back during this time, Acacia and Dark Oak Trees did not exist, so the Bonus Starter Chest provides you with their saplings respectively as well as a Jungle Sapling. I also added some maps to use into the Bonus Starter Chest as well.

The Nether is a whole different story. Even though being limited to 284X284 blocks, it has all the components of the Bedrock 1.16 Nether Update. All five Nether biomes; Nether Wastes, Crimson Forest, Warped Forest, Basalt Delta, and Soul Sand Valley are all present for you :) . Additionally, a Nether Fortress and Piglin Bastion are both present. Please note that Wither Skeletons will spawn right at the Bedrock Wall in the Nether Fortress and their spawn rate is small.

So, this is what Classic Features are present in this map:
  • Old Villages.
  • 864 X 864 Overworld Blockspace, enforced by Borders.
  • 284 X 284 Nether Blockspace, enforced by Bedrock Walls.
  • NetherScale being 3 instead of 8
  • No Andesite, Diorite, or Granite in the Overworld (If there is, that is a converter glitch)

This is what Classic Features are not present in the map:
  • Version 1 Villagers (Due to how Bedrock is programmed to convert any generated post 1.11 to V2)
  • Version 1 Villager Trades of any iteration.
  • Older Brewing System
  • Older Enchantment System
There is no Jungle on the map, so Parrots, Pandas, Bamboo, and Ocelots are not present. There is also no Mushroom Island, so Mycelium and Mooshrooms are not available. There is an Ocean Monument however, so Prismarine variants and Sea Lanterns are available.

Due to the way the Overworld is, Wandering Traders will become more valuable and serve more of a purpose as they can offer the following items for Emeralds, which are not in the Overworld as of just generating it (As of Bedrock 1.17.41):
  • Double Tall Flowers (Rose Bushes, Sunflowers, Lilac, and Peony)
  • Flowers found in a Flower Forest Biome (Tulips, Allium)
  • Red Sand and Red Sandstone
  • Kelp
  • Coral Block Variants
  • Sea Pickles
  • Podzol
  • Packed Ice
  • Blue Ice
  • Beetroot Seeds
  • Small Dripleaf
  • Moss Block

Wandering Traders also make sand directly renewable in a limited worldspace with their trades, as well as dirt indirectly via Podzol.

A couple of additional loot chests have been added to the Overworld as well as a Ruined Portal. A loot chest has been added to the Piglin Bastion, and more Glowstone was added to the Nether to be on par with it's generation on the Xbox 360. Sweet Berries were also added to the map. In order to get Andesite, Diorite, or Granite, Nether Quartz will have to be used, making it more valuable as well.

This map is ideal for Survival as in terms of Difficulty (As with Creative, you can bypass the Border Blocks); and Realms on Bedrock, as well as those who want to challenge themselves, multiplayer that is more manageable and those who want to have some nostalgia while still having newer components of the game. Overworld is 864 X 864, Nether is 284 X 284, and the End is Infinite. Hope you all enjoy. Hope to see some cool creations from this.

Changelog (Updates):

-10/11/2020:
  • Map Compatibility updated to Bedrock Edition 1.16.50 from Bedrock Edition 1.16.40
  • Map pieces in Bonus Starter Chest had improper XCenter and ZCenter values set to either 250 or -250. Values were updated to 256 or -256 respectfully to fix the map pieces and regenerated the image on each of the map pieces.
  • Removed an Anvil from the Ocean that was accidentally dropped.

-10/17/2020:
  • Fixed a Glitch where the End Portal would not activate upon putting an Eye of Ender in all 12 End Portal Frame Slots. The End Portal is activated due to this.
  • Added additional Loot to the Stronghold Library Chests.

-10/24/2020
  • Added coordinates for a third Abandoned Mineshaft to the details of the world.

-11/05/2020
  • Added coordinates for a fourth Abandoned Mineshaft to the details of the world.

-11/07/2020
  • Added coordinates for a fifth Abandoned Mineshaft to the details of the world.

-11/15/2020
  • Added coordinates for a sixth Abandoned Mineshaft to the details of the world.
  • Added coordinates for a seventh Abandoned Mineshaft to the details of the world.
  • Added coordinates for a second Skeleton Dungeon close to the Surface to the details of the world.
-11/26/2020
  • Map Compatibility updated to Bedrock Edition 1.16.101 from Bedrock Edition 1.16.50
  • Fixed a Glitch where some chunks in the Nether had their biome convert to Ocean, which allowed Overworld Hostile Mobs to spawn in the Nether. MCCToolChest PE allowed the affected chunks to have their biomes to be restored to their default values and work as they should.
-10/7/2022
  • baseGameVersion tag was added to level.dat and was set to 1.16.100 and file was updated. This was done as this world is not compatible with Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.18+ as the new chunks from Y=-1 through Y=-64 do not properly load; This world will be stuck in version simulation 1.16.100. Even if the chunks were compatible, the new chunks would be below the barrier blocks, allow players to bypass the barrier.

Bugs:
-All Birch Logs on Birch Trees turned into Oak Logs during the Map Conversion Process (Fixed on 09/24/2020)
-End Portal would not Activate upon putting Eye of Ender in all 12 End Portal Frame Slots (Fixed on 10/17/2020)
-Some chunks' biomes in the Nether converted to Ocean, allowing Hostile Overworld Mobs to spawn (Fixed on 11/26/2020)
-Oak Logs on Pre-generated Oak trees will buck and the game will make you break them two to three times. Newly Spawned Oak Trees and Oak Logs used in builds thereafter behave as normal.
-Some tree leaves do not decay when the wood is removed from a pre-generated tree. This is due to a glitch from the converter used. Leaves from newly planted trees thereafter behave as normal.
-Players can use Ender Pearls to bypass the Borders in the Overworld due to the limitations of the Border Blocks used.
-Ocean Monument will not generate Guardians. This is due to the Xbox 360 tying the location of Monuments to a .dat file, whereas Bedrock Edition ties Monument Locations directly to the seed.
-Eye of Ender will not help you find the location of the Overworld Stronghold within the 864 X 864 blockspace properly. This is due to the Xbox 360 tying the location of Strongholds to a .dat file, whereas Bedrock Edition ties Stronghold Locations directly to the seed.
