Here is a really nice XP Combo Super Smelter design that is semi-automatic (One touch operation) and works for both Java and Bedrock Editions (See video for notes on Bedrock Edition)

32 Furnace array (16 per side) using any of the furnace types (blast, regular or smoker), each side is independent and will run until empty after button is pressed just once! Lockable hoppers to stop item flow and collect XP stored by the furnace.

Blast/Smoker - Smelts 1 full stack in 32 secs
Regular Furnace - Smelts 1 full stack in 48 secs

Yes, but you'll need to swap the glass for a slab or upside down stair. Pretty sure that's the only change needed.

Thanks! Sorry for late reply, but i got it working with the upside down stair. Works great. I modded it by having both furnace hoppers lead into 1 chest in the front instead of 2 separate chests.
