Aegis - [1.21]

I'm super excited to announce that the Cooking Skill is now available and ready for testing! I will be throwing a quest together for it today to explain how it works, but to give you a run down;

Cooking is our fully custom integer based crafting system. The way it works at it's core is, every level gives you an "attribute point" towards cooking (this is all behind the scenes). Every time you cook something, it runs a check for success by rolling a random number 1-100, then it takes that attribute point and subtracts 1 less than the level it takes to cook the item. Then it multiplies that number by 33 (this will vary for higher end more intricate recipes) and compares the Attribute against the randomly rolled number. If the attribute is greater than or equal to the check, it succeeds. Thus, every recipe simulates that you're skill is getting better by increasing your chance to cook the recipe successfully by 33% for each level you exceed the original unlock at.

Say goodbye to the majority of the vanilla crafting recipes for food! They have been removed and replaced with Campfire Cooking and Stove Cooking. The campfire when placed on the ground and lit with a flint and steel now has all of the basic vanilla meat recipes in it. They are still available to you at level 1! I felt this made the most sense and provided the most opportunity for XP at the low levels!

We're also introducing the cutting board. Its crafting is purely for prep work! Making raw Dough, cutting meat, etc., can all be done here!

We also have added the coveted BOWL OF WATER to the game, one of Minecraft's highest-requested items. What does it do? It's a bowl, and its full of water.

Some of you may notice some new tools added to the Anvil! The Whisk and the Kitchen Knife are available for crafting by early game Smithing enjoyers and will be required for some recipes.

Realistic bread has been added! You now will have to mill your wheat at the nearest mill, then make dough from the flour and finally bake it into bread!

For now while we work out the inevitable kinks in such an intricate system, Cooking will be primarily relegated to within the town Zyta at the Tavern. There will be recipes added at a later date to craft the Cutting Board and the Wood Fired Stove, but for right now we are playing it safe in the event something significant needs to be changed with those items that can't be pushed live to everyone.
