Alinea: A Minecraft Server That Actually Feels Like Multiplayer

Tired of feeling alone on "multiplayer" servers? We were too.
Alinea is built around one idea: players should actually run into each other. A small world, no teleport commands, and a province system that keeps everyone living close together. The result is a server where you know your neighbours, bump into friends on the road, and strike up conversations just by walking past someone.

What Makes Alinea Different

1. Proximity Voice Chat
Walk past someone and start talking. No Discord calls, no typing. Just natural conversation. It changes everything about how the game feels.
2. Provinces with Real Governance
Players organise into provinces with their own rulers, laws, and taxes. Some provinces are democracies, some are monarchies. You'll find your place.
3. A Real Economy
No admin shops or artificial prices. Every trade is between real players, and your time and effort have genuine value. Run a shop, corner a market, or just get by.
4. Always Something to Work Toward
We've rebalanced progression so the game doesn't end in a week. Whether you join on Day 1 or Day 100, you can catch up without feeling left behind, and veterans still have goals to chase.
5. No Commands, Just Gameplay
No /tpa, no /claim, no /home. Everything is done through real gameplay. We hand-crafted everything to be as intuitive as possible.
6. Unique Enchantments
Alinea-exclusive enchantments like Tree Feller and Stone Grafting, plus an unstable enchanting system that lets you push vanilla enchantments beyond their normal limits.

A Community, Not Just a Server

Alinea is whitelisted for a reason. Our players are mostly 17+ and have stuck around for years. Real friendships form here. If you're looking for a server where people actually remember your name, this is it.
