Alien: Cataclysm takes place in a post apocalyptic world overrun by merciless Xenomorphs. Earth is now a planet for galactic criminals, that’s you, to be sent to be exiled, or to their death. You decide your own fate. Will you be a brute who charges a challenge head first? Or will you keep stealth on your side and avoid confrontation? Perhaps you will fall victim to the murderous hivemind.

The Alien: Cataclysm server revolves around the AVP mod from Ri5ux. For information on his mod go to his website: https://aliensvspredator.org
Alien:Cataclysm is a modded server. So you will need Technic to play on it. Here is the Modpack link:

This server is in alpha, so if you find a bug or something that can be abused, you will be rewarded.

Here are the most basic differences from vanilla MC that you should know about:
The Rules:
1. Don't cheat (Hax, or x-rayz).
2. Dont be a jerk.
3. Be respectful.
4. If you find a bug, or a config I forgot to change, anything that can be abused, tell me about it and I will reward you.
5. Failure to follow any and/or all of these rules will result in a ban.

The world is one big desert with cities throughout the map, don't try and look for more biomes.

The currency is based on dyes that can be grown. Yes money does grow on trees! Here are the items worth harvesting:
- Ink sack
- Rose Red Dye
- Cactus Green Dye
- Coco Beans
- Dandelion Yellow Dye
- Emerald

You can also be paid for doing jobs, here are the jobs with their descriptions:
Lumberman: Earns money felling and planting trees.
Miner: Earns money mining minerals and ores.
Construction Worker: Earns money for building structures.
Excavator: Earns money for digging up the world.
TeraFormer: Earns money from farming crops.
Marine: Earns money killing animals, robots, monsters, and aliens.
Fisherman: Earns money from fishing.
GunSmith: Earns money from crafting and repairing weapons (Not guns added by the mod, sorry).
Bar Tender: Earns money brewing potions.


If it is a robot, it most likely explodes.

If you haven't seen any of the Alien movies, I would recommend you watch at least one to understand the mod.

It is always night.

Upon death, creepers will spawn Chickens (You gata get food somehow).

Mama Spiders carry baby Spiders, so be careful when you kill spiders.

Your chests that you lock, are only locked when you are offline.

You need to drink water from your water bottle when you get thirsty (Water fills 25% of thirst).

You need to stand close to your red tulip (placed on the dirt you also have/had) when you start losing sanity.

You need to have access to fresh air when you are in caves/underground bunkers (make an airshaft/tunnel from the surface to your bunker).
