Arkadia

Arkadia is a unique, 24/7, dedicated Minecraft server; sponsored by Lowhop. This server is intended for veteran Minecraft survivalists that know the game like the back of their hand. It is for players who want to challenge themselves on the game like never before. This server likely has the hardest PvE you will ever play. Heres list of what makes PvE on Arkadia different:

List

1. Monsters spawn about 10 times as often at night.
   
2. Zombie Pigmen spawn in the normal world.
   
3. Zombies and Zombie Pigmen can break any block except bedrock.
   
4. Killing a creeper only lowers the explosion.
   
5. Skeletons shoot custom arrows, including exploding arrows.
   
6. Towns likely need walls 3 blocks thick, and must be repaired often.
   
7. Hunger is drastically increased.
   
8. There are custom dungeons and quests for players to gain rewards, some are harder than others.
   
9. Days on Arkadia last 3 times as long, yet night is the same.
   
10. Being a loner in this world is nearly impossible. This server is team based.

This server is currently in "beta" status. We will whitelist nearly anyone that requests to join. You can make your request on the comments below; however, this server will have a lot of information so it is highly recommended that you register on our forums by clicking here.

Why are we releasing in beta? Because we want our community to grow with the server, and take suggestions from our players.

List of changes likely to come shortly:

1. Update to 1.6.2
   
2. Replace towny with simple clans and protection stones
   
3. Create war arena's
   
4. Add races
   
5. Tweaking monster spawn rates
   

Although this server will always be Hardcore, we do listen to our players requests and concerns. There are three ways that you can get our attention: comment here, post on our forums, or create an ingame help ticket. The quickest for us to reply will likely be forum posts.
