Do you miss the small community oriented servers from back when Minecraft was small?

If your answer to these questions is yes. Then Artic Craft is the server for you.

Artic Craft is a community oriented Survival Multiplayer server.
We try to create a fun and entertaining environment for everybody.
We are heavily inspired by servers like Hermitcraft and Mindcrack.
We try to organise a lot of events, where everyone can take part in.
We encourage you to make giant projects that benefit the community as a whole.
Our friendly staff is always willing to help if you have questions, and so are our friendly players.

So why not join this community of legit SMP players?

Yes we know it's spelled Arctic, please stop telling us.

Gameplay Improvements

To make the server more fun we've added a few things to improve the gameplay.
And take out the boring grind.

• Shulkers drop 2 shulker shells.
• The Ender Dragon drop an Elytra on death.
• Call a mob `silenced` to make it shut it's mouth.
• Some slaps, stairs, bricks and trapdoors give more items.
• Craft slaps, stairs and trapdoors back to blocks.
• Make black dye from charcoal.
• Craft flint into gravel.
• Turn a dropper into a dispenser with a bow.
• Dyeable blocks can be redyed.
• Uncraft Nether Ward Blocks.
• Uncraft ice.
• Dye sandstone red.
• Turn rotten flesh into leather.
• Drowned have a higer change of dropper their Tridant.
• Custom enchants.
• Fly in your own land claims.
• Access to a resource shop that has everything you need.

Technical:

• The mobcap is per player instead of server wide.
• We use eigencraft redstone.
• To save on TPS some entities might have (parts of) their AI disabled.
• The view distance is set to 8.
• Packed farm animals will have parts of their AI disabled.
