Rules

Default Ranks
Guest: A person joining Astorcraft for the first time, has no idea what the server is about and is planning to learn more. Guests, are rare on the server since people will almost get automatic membership to the server.

Member: A player, who has completed the test and is ready to go into the main spawning area. This is one of the second to last ranking to a default membership of AstorCraft. Member's, are common since there is so many of them and the most "normal" rank.

Trusted: A member, who has been on the server for at least 3 months and is active daily, helps new people out, is well known, daily on website, and is helping the community. This rank is very hard to get and will be earned.

In Game Staff

Builder: A staff member, who builds for the actively will be building the examples listed, survival games maps, game maps, community events, and etc.

Trial Moderator: A staff member, who has been picked because we think they are qualified for moderating our server. This will be either divide into 2 separate ranks, Chat mod and Moderator. Which will be explain in a few more sentences. A trial-moderator will be test over a series of weeks, and the whole staff board will be discussing about keeping you or to let you go.

Chat Moderator: A staff member, who has been accepted as a "chat mod" and will be supervising the chat. Chat mods can mute, kick, and jail players (more commands coming soon) if they have too. Chat moderators can be promoted if they wanted to or stay at their current rank.

Moderator: A staff member, who is a rank away from being a admin. Moderators will help the server with plugins, help players in game, making community events and host them, can get along easily and is very friendly. This is the final tier of the moderator

Admin: A staff member, who helps the owner in various different projects, managing plugins, helping with website, making recruitments, informing staff member, and etc. This person will be very active daily, will spend time devoting to the server, and is very good at what they do. This is extremely hard to earn, and will take awhile.

Owner: Responsible for ensuring that the server is funded, available to the community. Manages the business relationships external to the mine craft community.

Rules

1. NO hacking/references to hacking allowed. That is a serious crime, and we do not take it or the joking of it lightly.
2. Treat other players with respect. That means no insults or discrimination because of gender, race, sexual affiliation or religion.
3. No Griefing is allowed ONLY.
4. PvP is ONLY allowed in the PvP areas.
5. Do not spam the chat.
6. Do not advertise. Nothing. At all.
7. No X-Ray Packs or Hacks
Break the rule and you will be banned.

Please, treat all members with respect. Everyone was created equal.

Consequences:
Spam=Warning, kick, mute (15 min) then temp ban
Hacking= Needless to say, Insta-Ban
Verbal Insults= warning, temp ban, ban
Anything else is usually: warning,kick,ban

Coders only (Plugin/Website):
1) How long have coded?
2) What languages are you familiar with?
3) Are you familiar with PHP/SQL/Java/YAML?
4) Are you familiar with the terms CI and Source Control?
5) Have you or do you plan of authoring a MineCraft plugin?

Builders only:
1) Pictures of your exisitng build required?
2) What kind of builder are you?
3) What building plugins are you familiar with (World Edit/Voxel Sniper/Other)?
4) Give 2 examples of blocks with directions pattenrs?
5) Can you execute pixel art style builds?
6) Rate your ability with Redstone blocks (1-10)?

Advertisers Only:
1) What forums are you an active member of?
2) Have you ever taken the role of advertising for another server?
3) Are you able to present build idea and events to the staff?
