The world is called Avalon, and in it, are great lords leading the people that honor them to glory! Overtime the people your lead will find themselves at odds, against greedy intentions and ambitions as well as the world's challenges. While you build your lordship, to protect your people, the undead stir in the night. Not only will you be put against your competition, you’ll also find yourself at odds against those that aren't living. Expect great attacks from your rivals and their dead counterparts. Work hard to feed your armies, pay off your merchants and build your castles. Work hard with your people, strive for the glory of infamy, or die trying. Now is the hour of your destiny. Rules:
Hate Speech, harassment or threats will not be tolerated.
Do not use any client mods/hacks/x-rays etc etc etc at all.
If you are not of a combat rank you may not PVP or participate in wars unless defending your own lands.
If you are not of the proper class you must not create/craft or tend to those tasks that do not pertain to your class. - This is for immersion and roleplay please follow it to a tee.
If you are not a mage you are NOT allowed to use Potions of any sort in combat.
If you are not an enchanter you are NOT allowed to enchant with enchantment tables.
If you are not a Blacksmith, you are NOT allowed to craft any diamond gear.
If you do not understand why we have these limitations please seek out staff and they’ll be happy to explain it to you.
All players may build with wooden planks/logs however if you are not a Stonemason/builder you may not build anything beyond those materials.
Only miners may dig underground or into stone.
We have discord for Localized RP via voice in game. - If you are actively near players in game you may ask in ooc to take your RP to voice in discord.
You may not use global unless asking for staff assistance.
You may not use enderpearls
You may not use gapples.
You may not use Fly outside of building
You may not use Fixall outside of a smithy. {we will watch the console to see whom is abusing perms)
Your kits will be perceived as inheritances - or purchased goods from master merchants. - Rp it as such.


New Life Rule

Upon death players are not allowed to return to the location of their death for at least 15 minutes and the loot is free for all.
Players can also only return after the death timer of 15 minutes if re-invited/told to come from another RP presence.
You forget any and all RP story events that led to your death as well as the killer. All that is known is that you were 'injured and was found somewhere or woke up at home'.
You may never provoke a full ‘death’ to a player unless agreed by them.
If you die and no-one is around to see, NLR does not apply and you can go get your gear back. eg. Falling off a cliff.
If you choose to perm kill your character, you forget and leave everything behind, your old items are forfeit, you lose all your old things - no leaving meta notes for your new character.



Meta Gaming

You do not know ANY information that you have learned OUT OF CHARACTER, this means websites/forums/streams/discord etc. If caught, expect tembans.
No using in game names or chat nameplates to find out a player's name
If a character is wearing a mask/helm and does not speak, you do not know who it is. Please respect the validity to this rule.


Classes: Reminder: Knights cannot farm, if knights aren’t being fed how will they be able to fight? Miners cannot fight without knights how can they defend themselves? Lordships must have balance with regards to classes or your lordship will fail.


Farmer - Starting gold 500 - Builds a farm, Works crops, gets paid by the lord
Fisher - Starting gold 500 - Builds a dock, Fishes for supplies/gets paid by the lord
Miner - Starting gold 500 - Builds a mine, Mines for the lordship, gets paid for resources brought in by the lord.
Lumberjack - Starting gold 500 - Builds a lumber mill, Chops wood, gets paid for resources by the lord.
Stonemason/Carpenter - Starting Gold 1500 Builds the castle, the outer walls, turrets, homes for the people, paid for services by the people asking for homes or the lord for castle improvements.
Stablehand - Starting Gold 1000 - Works the stables, barns, etc etc. - only person that should be tending to the horses, taking the horses from visiting players etc. etc.
Blacksmith - Starting gold 3000 - Builds a Smithy/forge with the stonemason, Works the forges and anvils, creates the armor for the lordship, tools and weapons for the people. - Only person allowed to make, craft and repair diamond gear - all players should actively roleplay with a smithy for tools, - Players not following this RP will be penalized.
Alchemist - Starting gold 5000 - Builds an enchanter's wizardry tower, Works with enchantments and brewing of potions, players must roleplay, and seek out an alchemist to enchant gear, purchase potions etc etc.
Innkeeper - Starting gold 3000 Should hire a stonemason/carpenter to build them an inn, manages the gold coming in from chefs/brewers and the rooms they rent, hires chefs/brewers.
Chef/Brewer - Starting gold 500 Works for an Innkeeper, charges, crafts and makes brews, foods, etc etc.
Maester - Starting gold 10000, Works for the lord/lady to tend to the wounds mentally,physically of each person, advisor and keeper of knowledge etc etc for the lordship.
Man At Arms - Starting gold 500 - weekly salary of 200 gold. - defends the lordship. - Must live in a barracks.
Squire/Knight/Dame - Starting gold 13000 - weekly salary of 500 gold - defends the lordship, may own a plot of land, hire a chef/and people to tend his land. - able to build small fiefs and plots of land.
Royal Guard - Starting Gold 10000 Personal protector of the lord/lady should always rp beside the lord/lady and go wherever they go.
Mage - Starting gold 6000, Personal mage of the lordship, must be this rank to use potions in combat.
Lord/Lady - Starting with admins/staff likely but only apply based. - Starting gold will be determined by the skill and effort in the application.

WAR:

War can only be declared by the Lords of each house, after they hold a meeting or trade discussions. Once one party announces war, they should declare it to the entire server, and both parties (Lords) should also make the admins aware of the situation before hand. During wartime KOS within the walls of the lordships is allowed

Please treat civilians that belong to the house you are attacking with dignity. A honorable Knight would not kill civilians,. Any civilians/PVE-RPers/Traders caught up in the battle are in the wrong place at the wrong time and casualties do happen.

The final goal of each war is to kill/take hostage the Lord of the house, and obviously to claim whatever belongings you can while doing so, do not burn the entire castle to the ground as this goes against all logic. You want to claim the castle and make the enemies serve you. Only break doors and entrances when possible or needed.

PVP:

You may never KOS, snipe etc without first RPing a conflict first. A player should always be aware their life is in danger before someone attempts to take it.
After RPing with a player if your intentions are to PVP/kill them you must do so within 5 minutes of interacting in character with the player.


ECONOMY

Players can sell and trade items for how much they think the item is worth via the in game currency. If you overprice then people might go elsewhere. People will be rewarded with gold for also doing quests given by the Lords of their houses and you will also be able to find gold within the mines your miners set up. Once per week your lord’s will turn in the gold ingots your lordship gathers and turn it into gold coins. 1:1 Ratio. The more active the miners the more gold your lordship gathers.
