Bedrock Crossplay Support Ends | May 2026 "Force Be With You" Plushies | Notice Board, Guide, & Wiki - May 17, 2026

Hey all, a lot is going on as we pass the halfway point on May and cruise towards summer on Blockhead Odyssey! Your Emperor/Owner is very active, and I'm hoping that you will join me for some fun community building! I have activated a 10% off storewide sale in the Tebex Store, so anything you've had your eyeballs on you can now purchase with a discount! The only think I didn't discount are subscriptions, but they already are only the price of half a cup of Starbucks, and it is technically difficult to change the price of a reoccurring item like that. Some of you should be getting off on summer break if you haven't already, so hopefully you can spend some of that time helping me to build the best SMP ever!

Bedrock Crossplay Support Ends - I feel a little bad about this, but unfortunately it is not feasible for us to continue to offer Bedrock support. The nature of our server relies heavily on custom items and plugin compatibility, and Geyser-Spigot has not been playing nice. Since we haven't had a Bedrock player log in for over a month anyways, it just makes sense not to dump and outsized portion of my time into maintaining a compatibility that is janky on a good day. So, Blockhead Odyssey SMP is henceforth Java Edition only.

May 2026 "Force Be WIth You" Plushies - There is still time to collect all 10 "Force Be With You" plushies, and I am excited to announce that I have added two additional rewards to choose from. You can trade a complete set of 10 plushies at /packingstation for a Collector's Holocron Token which can then be used at the Seasonal NPC to get one of three lightsabers, one of two DeluxeTags, or one of two Holocron Relic trinkets. Collect as many sets as you can, because I don't know about you, but I want one of each of the rewards!

Notice Board, Guide, & Wiki - I am really excited to share that onboarding should be so much smoother for new players with our updated Server Guide at /guide, our Harbormaster's Notice Board (a physical bulletin board) at /spawn and a vastly improved and evolving wiki at BlockheadOdyssey.com! Even if you are not new, you can find the information you need from these helpful sources, and--if you don't--let me know and I'll be sure to add it there. Speaking of onboarding, I'm going to be doing inactivity cleanup in Ithaca in the next few days, so if you haven't logged in for a minute and refreshed your timer, you might want to do that if you plan on returning to your stuff.
