BlockParty is an upcoming Minecraft server, hoping to cultivate a sense of creativity and dedication. The server is a survival server. This is a nearly completely new server, with bountiful lands to claim. The server doesn't have a specific theme, so we hope to generate ideas from all time periods and thought processes. I'd be quite glad to implement some ideas from the community, as well. As this is a new server, we are also opening new moderator positions, which will only be given to dedicated people who know the commands. Builder or above preferred.

Teleportation System:
At every major area, there is a teleporter. If you go into that teleporter, it will take you to a Teleportation Hub where you can go to other major areas. Since we didn't want people warping around too much, we made it so if you want to go instantly, you have to pay a gold ingot to go to a major area. But we also didn't want to leave out newbies, so we set up a free teleporter as well, that took you to the same areas, for free, but it will only send you at an interval of 2 and a half minutes. So, in simple speak, it runs at sunup, noon, sundown, and midnight. You can type /time to see the exact time.

EDIT: Above is our current plan. But since the server is almost brand-new, I'm allowing instant teleports for free, since we only have the Quarry, Camelot, and Kierkegaard set up.

Competition:
We hope to develop a friendly competitive spirit. Awards, both material and other forms, will be given to: Best Town, Best Megastructure, Most Creative Building, and more! Building contests will be hosted as well, with a variety of goals, such as speedbuilding, limited space building, limited material, and etc.

Rules o (These are the usual things.)

• Do not grief.
  
• If in the wilderness (Not in a town), build at least around 100 blocks away from another person's house/fortress, unless given permission. It's always better to just ask the person how far away you should build.
  
• If you're building a megastructure, please contact a Moderator/Admin and explain what you're trying to build.
  
• 1 x 1 towers are allowed for building purposes, but should be taken down as soon as possible, or an admin/mod will contact the perpetrator.
  
• If you take down 1 tree in the wilderness, replant 1 tree near that area. 2 trees taken down, replant 2. Rinse and repeat.
  
• No racism, sexism, or general vulgarness is accepted in the chat. Swearing once in awhile is fine, but spamming swear words is frowned upon.
  
• Don't spam the chat as well. Obviously.
  
• Ugly buildings will be asked to be renovated. If not, they will be deconstructed, or personally renovated by an admin/mod.

Ranks -
Ranks are judged off amount of time spent on the server and dedication contributed to the public good. Building nice looking towns or mega-structures are surefire ways to get noticed and ranked up quicker.

iNewby are people who are not whitelisted. They have no building capabilities.
Regulars are people who are just recently whitelisted. They are not able to place lava buckets, TNT, redstone, or use flint and steel.
Builders are those who have been on approximately a week. They can place lava buckets and TNT.
Trusted are those who done something special, or have been on the server for approximately a month. When the new spawn is constructed, they will earn their own approximately 25 x 25 floating island.

Donation System:
Every single donation goes to the server. If even a penny mistrays, you can come and personally chemically castrate me. Or write a very strongly worded letter. I'm sure they'll both produce similar effects.
