BloodHound PvP

Bloodhound, a server which not long ago was only a dream. We started up for one reason the community. After looking at large and popular servers we saw their strengths and weaknesso s. Now we have finally created our own bringing ideas for well-known servers aswell as our own unique ideas which make us stand out in the crowd in the minecraft community. After looking at various posts and topics in all popular servers we have condensed the main issues into these three sections, Anti-Hacking mechanisms, Community involvement and staff contribution.

On bloodhound we have downloaded the latest high spec anti-hacking mechanisms such as no cheat plus and orebfuscator which allows to to take a zero tolerance approach on hacking. As we see it, hacking only gives a disadvantage to there opponents and is an important issue on our server. If reported, the issue will be taken extremely serious and if there is enough evidence it will be a perm ban. Taking this approach allows players who are n ot cheating to have a more enjoyful and less-frustating experience on the server they love the most.

Community Involvement, a topic which can be read on any server at anytime. Time and time again we see large minecraft players dropping away from the servers at there is simply not enough community involvement. From pvping to helping build the best faction on the server. So bloodhound have decided to introduce a custom shop and kits which get better as you donate. Our aim is to keep the server members motivated and excited of things to come. We also one of the very few servers which use fast soup to compensate for the lack of pvp due to the 1.6.2 update. We will have a monthly drop whcih will include items from diamonds to god-apples. Furthermore, we will introduce a limited time shop item which will only be open for an hour or so on random dates that will be confirmed on our websites. On these dates we will enable the spawning of withers for a certain period of time such as half an hour and we will also disable the /butcher command for our donators in the specified period of time. This will allow for raids to happen. We will give you plenty of notice to when this happens so you and your faction can come on and defend your base!

Staff contribution, a thing that every server lacks but not ours. We have picked a series of admins and we are looking for a team of mods, managers and trustees who will help the server run and be on as much as possible to help you and the server community. From commands to the banning of people because of them breaking the rules they will be there for you. Perhaps you may want a friendly chat, they are there for you.

To conclude bloodhound strives to be the best of the best in the minecraft server community. We can only do hid with the help of YOU the community. Get on and play if you dono t youo ll regret it.

Additional Notes

PvP faction with the old 1.5 strength. This means that the pvp is no longer op and requires skill not luck.
