The Rift is open. Gather your gear, bring your companions, and prepare for a fight the entire server can see.

Riftforged is a Minecraft Java Edition MMORPG plugin built on top of vanilla Minecraft, bringing custom attributes, unique equipment, companions, crafting, and challenging boss encounters into a real multiplayer world.

This is a public test server, meaning you're not just playing the finished experience — you're helping test it. Expect bugs, balance changes, new features, resets, and experimentation as Riftforged continues to evolve.

🌌 THE RIFT

When a Rift opens, it's not a private dungeon or personal instance.

Only ONE Rift can be active at a time.

When it appears, the entire server has a reason to converge on it. Enter the structure and survive its escalating waves. Guards arrive first, followed by a second wave, until the Rift's boss finally appears in a full summoning ritual.

Everyone is fighting in the same world, at the same event.

See the Rift. Answer the call. Fight together.

☠️ BOSS FIGHTS

Riftforged features six unique boss types, each with its own skill kit and mechanics.

Bosses aren't simply vanilla mobs with inflated health and damage. Their abilities are designed to be recognizable and reactable, including telegraphed attacks that you can actually dodge.

But don't get too comfortable.

Some bosses can unleash Mass Seize abilities that lock down everyone nearby at once.

Scripted skill damage is guaranteed to land — stats won't let you cheese mechanics by stacking evade. Ordinary attacks, however, can still be dodged.

Learn the patterns. Watch the telegraphs. Position yourself correctly.

Survival is part of the build.

🔨 CRAFT YOUR GEAR

Defeating a boss doesn't simply give you a finished legendary weapon.

Instead, bosses provide the pieces you need to make something of your own.

Collect:

• Enchantment Stones
• Crafting cores
• Boss-specific materials

Take those materials to a crafting table and create your equipment.

There are 129 gear items to discover, and each one comes with its own actual skill — not just a higher attack value or bigger stat number.

Your equipment can fundamentally change how you play.

⚒️ THE COMBINE FORGE

Getting your gear is only the beginning.

Take your equipment to the Combine Forge and push it further.

Socket Enchantment Stones into your gear, unlock additional sockets, level up your stones, and repair equipment after it breaks.

Your build isn't finished when you craft the item.

Upgrade it. Modify it. Experiment with it.

Recruit a Deviant companion and gear it up piece by piece, just like your own equipment.

Your companion fights alongside you, keeps pace with you, and becomes stronger as you level.

There's no separate companion grind required.

Build yourself up. Build your Deviant up. Then take both into battle.

🌍 A REAL MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE

Riftforged is designed around a shared multiplayer world.

The Rift isn't something you disappear into alone.

When it opens, players can see the event, gather together, prepare their builds, and fight the same encounter.

Whether you're testing a new weapon, experimenting with Enchantment Stones, leveling a Deviant, or simply trying to survive a boss's skill rotation, your actions are part of the same world as everyone else.

This server exists to test Riftforged.

Things may break.

Features may change.

Balance may be adjusted.

Bosses may be too strong — or not strong enough.

Items, skills, stats, crafting recipes, and mechanics may be changed or reset during development.

If you encounter bugs, unexpected behavior, balance problems, or anything that doesn't feel right, please report it. Testing and player feedback are what help turn Riftforged into a better experience.

Nothing is guaranteed to remain unchanged.
