PvP - Decide which team you want to help reach it's ultimate goals - team Snafu or team Collop. Teamwork is essential in pvp, and on these grounds, the strategic approach is usually much more effective. There is lots of added features, to change the pvp game to what you've never seen before!
Unique features - Special armor with abilities, "pokemon" style mob armies, fly dragons, awesome building style, and so much more.
Economy - EXP orbs are our currency. You can use them for lots of added features(read "Economy" spoiler), or give yourself some badass enchantments.
Building & Flying - Like building as much as pvp? There's a perfect place for you to build a house, and have it automaticly protected from harm! It is possible to fly there for free. You can also build anywhere in the wild, but only if you have the guts to survive!
Locking - You can lock several chests or other items, for personal use.
Quests - You can find quests in several places of the world. They give you nice items and exp for completing their tasks! They will also promote you to new ranks!
Easy for beginners - Self-written tutorials will get you acquainted with everything you need to become an elite player. And there's very little commands to remember, as the server has been designed to function by interaction, which makes high quality gaming experience.
Brand new - The server has just been released to the public, after 2 months of building and adjusting plugins so they're "just right". Some things are still in beta stage. Lots of things to explore, and diamonds to mine!
Friendly staff - Tired of being bullied by admins and mods? Well here, we actually try to help you as much as possible, in a friendly way!
No Whitelist - Not even a gray list. No need to apply, just join and play. There's still a lot of security measures against rule breakers, even with the whitelist off.
You got a nice dose of information if you read that introduction, but I'd not be suprised if things are still a bit hazy. So let's strip this down to those life-saving details.
You probably saw that there are two, and only two teams(races). Snafu and Collop.
The server isn't using Factions or anything like that, so new races can't be created. Once you join one of them, the best way to move forward is with teamwork.
You can mount a dragon, and fly to the close-quarters PvP area, or just roam around the world, killing everything you see, and get killstreak rewards.
But playing "Rambo" ain't always the best idea... You can go search for resources, and craft armor with special abilites, for that upper hand in battle, or maybe go catch yourself some mobs - Pokemon style, then throw them near opponents to cause havoc! Since teamwork is something we encourage here, there's no friendly fire. In fact, if you hit your teammate, you will lose half a heart, but he will be healed for that much.
Maybe you can find a way to implement this into your "battle plan"
This feature can really be "super effective" in battle! ...Sorry about that cheesy pun. It works by throwing your pokeballs, or chicken eggs as you may know them, and if you hit a mob, it has a chance of turning into a throwable spawn-egg. Then you pick that thing up, and if you see an enemy, throw it near them(and further from you) and the monster will attack like normally. Really fun with creepers.
Now this is a fun one! If you get a full set of an armor type, it gives you special abilities! Diamond armor, even though it's still awesome, may not be the final choice for some. Here's a short list of armors and abilities:
Leather: You walk faster than a normal person sprints... and you sprint like HOLY CRAP!
Iron: Your lungs expand infinitely, and you never suffocate underwater again! You also dig faster in the depths.
Gold: Epic high jumps, and no fall damage. You can almost taste the awesome.
Diamond: No fire damage, and couple of seconds of no-damage lava time. Lava bucket as a weapon against you? Lol. 
Yes! Yes we do have dragons. They take you from one destination to another in pure awesome-juice(what?). In the future, they might even fly you to your home! Sometimes I ride them just to improve my daily mood by 5%+.
For all creative types, or those who just want to have a protected home, there's a huge building area available, with automatic minecart subways and stations, and free flying ability! The 16x16 block plots are free for everybody, and if you get rich, you can buy bigger plots, and sell the small one!
The largest plot is 40x40 in size... which is gigantic, and ment for castles, palaces, etc.
Of course, you may also build in the wild, anywhere on the world. But you should hide it, or place defences around the house, in case an enemy discovers it.
Never use hacks

No mods that give you an in-game advantage
Place wool in your house & a sign with your name on it, if you build in the wild
Don't grief your teammates houses
No spamming, racism, or excessive swearing in chat!
Don't be a pain in the ass
Don't make 1x1 towers

Creepers/dragons don't destroy environment
Lava doesn't make fires
Whitelist: None
This server is expected to last a long time, which is why it has to have some good security measures. It's not whitelisted or graylisted, but it has enough protection for relaxed playing.
Early ranks can't use lava buckets, flint & steel, and tnt. As you progress, you unlock these items, and can use them freely.
Lava/lightning doesn't create fires, and creepers don't destroy the environment.
X-rayers can only mine a couple of ores per hour... a fair player will not notice this.
These are the team bases, build area and spawn area. In them, you're untouchable. Nothing can kill you.
Fire will also not spread there, and mobs won't spawn. Nobody can destroy anything in there, so it's 100% grief-proof.
The Build area has automatic protection for every plot, so nobody can interfere with your work, unless you invite them to it with a command.
You lock stuff by slapping it with a stick.
At first you can only lock 5 chests, then as you rank up, you can lock some more chests and also other things such as doors or levers!
It is possible to lock an item for more people... so you can share it with friends!

As you log in, you can spend max. 30 minutes as a Greenhorn, or you can find a sign at spawn, and promote yourself to pick a race right away. 
Of course, no server is perfect without it's own economy, and we made ours work with Exp orbs as currency.
Enough items are for sale in shops, that you can craft anything, and never go hungry.
However to keep the spirit of Minecraft vanilla gameplay always present, we balanced the economy enough, to not have everybody running around in full diamond, and eating gold apples.
But you can only earn money by doing cool and fun stuff. Like killing mobs, killing players, doing quests or mining for ores, and soon, selling items to a Broker.
