Brucie's Server

A year ago, a server was made. Brucie's Server. Just who is Brucie? Well, the nickname came after an Admin on a server he joined recognized his love for American classic movies, and changed it to Bruce_Willis, thereafter it was abbreviated to Brucie. After many months of trial and error on various servers, Brucie decided to create his own server where people could build freely and without tyrannical rule of Admins. The server was made on February 21, 2012, open only to people who possessed the IP. Today, in an effort to bring our Minecraft fun to you, we've decided to go public with our IP and post on Planet Minecraft.

Upon logging in, go on to the Capitol Lawn. There are many boards to help you. We don't wish to keep you for long at the Welcome Area (some players get antsy) so feel free to skip that and build in the wilderness. Currently, we use the Residence plugin for protecting builds, as well as WorldGuard. You can use residence freely to make your own plots. We are very open minded since we are a fledgling server so please do not hold back about suggestions.

After a while, the Staff may see to it that you get ranked up because you demonstrate appeal to us in the areas of: building expertise, responsibility when handling other players and reporting crimes, and other criteria we may find it necessary to look at. You will spawn in Survival mode, however if we find you are creative, we will give you Creative mode (makes sense, doesn't it?).

We have a specific set of philosophies on Minecraft that may appeal to you. For one, all people should get to build, no matter what (unless we find a reason you shouldn't, say, because of griefing, etc). We believe you should be able to rank up and get deserved perks without paying hefty donations. Our admins are never, ever, pay-to-rank, they have been hand picked by Brucie because they have shown the necessary skills for operating a server. The donations/contributions and ranks system are exclusive to each other (read: no cash for rank-up). We won't give anything except maybe a special prefix and a few gag commands to contributors. Those commands will be commands that cannot damage another player or cause a change that alters the game play for an advantage to that contributor. Note: as of right now donations aren't set up.

Brucie's Server is a Survival/Creative Build server. You log on, and you build with other crafters. Note: Brucie's Server is WIP, as our population is fairly low. Some builds may be unfinished.
