Three things make Cataclysm’s survival stand out from the rest: custom-generated worlds to explore, new items to wield, and the epic story to uncover!
Explore Vast Plains and Frigid Wastelands!
Explore everything the Chrystalia Wilds has to offer! Players can find themselves adventuring in vast, green plains, the tallest mountaintops, forests filled with monsters, and much more. Players can fight for glory in PVP arenas located throughout the world or go dungeoneering with a party! The seasoned survivalist can also make their way into the Nether or Fringerune, the hardcore arctic world. Whatever the case, your thirst for adventure will always be satisfied!
Prepare Your Arsenal!
Players can craft and collect custom weapons, armor, and accessories to aid them in their adventures! Arm yourself to the teeth with swords, daggers, polearms, throwing knives, caltrops, bows, wands, magical artifacts, and much, much more. Our custom equipment also has stats, such as magical damage bonuses, critical hit damage, parry chance, and movement speed, allowing players to make their own builds. Become an unyielding warrior, sly ranger, powerful mage, or anything in between; Cataclysm has the right sword or spell for you!
Make Your Own Mark on the World!
Of course, there are also storylines for the players to follow. There are plenty of NPCs for the players to interact and trade with. There are also Live NPCs, Cataclysm’s official characters, that convey the bigger, overarching storylines. These are literally the storyrunners using an alternate account to tell the story. Players can talk to, go on quests with, and even explore the world with them! This allows for a more personalized, human-feeling storyline; one where you aren’t just defeating monsters and giving their drops to hard-coded NPCs, and one where your decisions actually matter!
Build to Your Heart's Content in the Creative World!
Plots, Lagless WorldEdit, and Tons of Creative Players!
The creative world holds endless plots for players to build in. Claim up to four 128x128 plots. With tools such as FastAsyncWorldEdit and VoxelSniper, players are only limited by their imagination!
Have a cool idea for a PVP map, or maybe even a dungeon? You can also submit your builds for use in PVP and Survival! That’s right, what you make can be in the game! Particularly talented builders who contribute their creations to the server may even be given the Content Team title, also granting them a significant increase in plot count!
Cataclysm is currently in its public beta phase;
Gameplay is polished but may be subject to alterations or changes.
Be prepared for bugs and ongoing modifications and improvements to the server.
