Features:
Noteworthy Plugins:
We run an economy based server here at Catharsis Freebuild, therefore we employ plugins such as Iconomy, Bettershop & Chestshop to give our community a sense of progression. We also run a selection of arena styled PvP plugins to give our more violent players a readily accessible and rewarding outlet for their fury, such as CTP (Capture the Points) and MobArena. Other standard plugins include: Worldguard, Nocheat, Bookworm, Dynmap & Courier.
Extensive Ranking System:
We have 12 player ranks and 4 donor ranks, each player rank can be achieved through realistic and often very enjoyable means, such as purchasing land and completing mazes.
Established & Friendly Community:
Catharsis Freebuild has been running the same map for over a year and has managed to keep many excellent players throughout our lifetime and we intend to keep many more! Come and join our community of good natured and helpful players and become part of something great.
Auctions & Competitions:
We hold weekly auctions selling player built houses to informed buyers! There are is also generally one competition being held at all times ranging from exploration quests to team based building competitions!
Rules:
Cursing & Racism:
We do not tolerate excessive cursing in our chat channels, nor do we tolerate wanton racism.
Website Links:
We do not tolerate linking to any sort of pornography or shock websites in our chat, we try to keep a professional and considerate environment here.
Advertising:
We of course do not tolerate and form of advertising for another server or community, this is deemed as "trashy" and community breaking, doing this will earn you a swift ban.
PvP & Griefing: Our policy on both PvP and griefing is that if you don't to be attacked or griefed, buy protected land with Iconomy money, there is virtually no means for anyone to grief on this server as long as players protect their land.
Hacking & Modding:
There is a fine line between the two, X-ray mods are not allowed here, nor is any form of "kill hack" and flying/hovering, we do however allow minimap mods here.
