CivUniverse is a new iteration of the legendary CivCraft genre.
It has added mechanics designed for players to be able to moderate griefers without the need of admin intervention. Players can imprison each other by defeating them in combat, banishing them to The End until either their captor frees them or they are broken out by a third party.
The maps never reset; new iterations only come around once every couple of years. We just launched a new map on December 27th, so there's still plenty of land to explore and claim, to build up your own nation or join an existing one. Our world is full of conflict ranging from territorial disputes for farmland to past grudges from other servers.
The world is full of both veterans and new players alike. There are resources available on the subreddit and the discord for new players to learn about the plugins that make our server special. Since the server is a perfect mix of townie and faction, there is no single playstyle to adhere to; You can help build cities, participate in trade, establish a system of government for your nation, try your luck at bounty hunting, try your luck at raiding, and meet some crazy people along the way.
