Clutch Craft

I've played on this server for quite a few months and really enjoyed myself here. Staff was friendly and the server was nicely maintained. Recently I had stopped playing minecraft all together due to being so busy with school and such. Today I and two friends went to the server. One of my friends was arguing with an admin Maxxine, because he has said the word "gay". We were all placed in jail for going through an unprotected chest on the server (apparently stealing, oh well we accepted the punishment). In chat my friend said "I'm gay!" And was given a warning. He asked about the warning and they told him they didn't want him using such "language" since children play on their server. Now this is where the homophobia starts and why this server which was once a great server to play on turned into present day Russia with their bigoted homophobia. While he and the admin tried to talk it out, the admin continued to act immaturely twoards him and claim he had an "attitude" when simply he wanted to know why he was not allowed to say the word in the first place.  As they continued to talk, Maxxine said children should not be exposed to people who are gay, and that being gay is seen as a taboo. I am someone who is in the LGBTQA+ as well as my friends and then a (asumingly) friend of the admin said "I don't know why you're getting so offended". Why? Because It's a serious matter. Later on in the conversation with the admin I was given a warning for not "listening" to the admin when they told me to drop it. I'm sorry but a problematic issue like this must be addressed. So I continued to try to explain to the admin why what they were doing was homophobic. They simply said "Being homophobic isn't against the law!!" Ah yes, admitting you are infact homophobic and that it should be justified! Now by this point my friend was banned for trying to stick up for himself. I continued to try and tell them that being homophobic isn't a taboo, that someones lifestyle isn't wrong and that children don't need to be hidden from people who are gay like its something to be shameful of! They're spreading their hate to their younger players and it's absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER be playing on this server again, and if you're in the LGBTQA+ or an ally, I suggest staying FAR away from these bigots who will ban you simply because you're gay and are proud of it, and want to stick up for yourself. This server was once great but now theyre nothing but bullies.
