Cobbleton is a survival multiplayer server with 30+ plugins installed to help amplify the Minecraft experience. Our goal is to create a mature, tight knit community where everyone knows each other. When you first join the server, you will be placed in a random location. This is to ensure that builds are spread out and you don't have to walk to find a place to build. However, this shouldn't stop you from reaching out and finding a town where you can call home.

Cobbleton has pretty basic rules. They are mostly the same as any other survival server, however we do have some things we want to clarify. The rules in RED mean you will be banned for your first offence. The rules in ORANGE mean you will be given a warning in mild cases, and a temporary ban(up to the discretion of staff) in excessive cases. If you continue to break the rules beyond a temporary ban, you will be permanently banned.
- No Griefing - We define "Griefing" as the purposeful destruction or obstruction of another person's work without their expressly given permission. Don't break other people's stuff. That's not cool!
- Hacked/Modified Clients or Mods are Prohibited - This rule applies to any sort of client mod that significantly alters the gameplay experience. At Cobbleton, we want to make a server where everyone is given the same chances. Think about it, is cheating really fun?
- Be Respectful - In conduct with other people on the server, try not to be insulting or rude. We aren't going to ban the use of any words or phrases, but we ask that you don't insult or actively try to offend other users. Allow others to have the welcoming experience that we strive to give you!
- No Spamming - "Spamming" is the action of quickly filling chat with a burst of typed messages. It is generally at the discretion of the staff as to what is considered spam.
- No Advertising - It's okay to want to play on another server, and we understand entirely if Cobbleton doesn't work out for you. That said, there are plenty of forums, websites, and subreddits to advertise. Cobbleton is not the place.
- Keep the Server Neat - Everyone has their own style of building, and we encourage and are excited to see the different ways people play. That said, we ask that non-aesthetic and impractical obstructions (such as 1x1 towers and tunnels and non-aesthetic floating trees) be kept out of the main world, so that we may promote a better playing environment.
Cobbleton is currently in the process of building a thriving community. If you want to help accelerate that process please follow all the rules and be active within our community. If meet our expectations we will consider you when we are looking for new staff members.

I've hosted 3 servers at different times since 1.3. I've played on close to 20 servers but have stuck to 3 that I really liked. The last one I really liked did not update at 1.7 so I'm looking for a new one. When I find a server that I like and will stay at I donate on a regular basis.
I haven't seen the server yet but I'll be looking at right after submitting this.

I've been playing minecraft since 1.7, and has been playing on servers since 1.8, so yeah, I've got the experience :). I've never had problems either on servers and got along with most players, and I have been asked to be a Mod once. I'm the kind of person who plays on all kinds of servers, those with mini-games, those with PVP and those with Creative. But once and a while, I like those calm Survival ones.
I've been looking for one of those Survival Servers, especially those with the anti-grief plugin. Then I came across this one, and it looks quite promising :), all I can say.
As I said before, I've played minecraft since 1.7. I got quite hooked to this game, because I'm quite creative (I have been told) , I love drawing, I like writing stories, I like taking pictures, videos.. So Minecraft has expanded my imagination.
Oh well, I hope that I'll be accepted as a loyal player! Thanks :3

I have had very good expeiriences on other servers. I have been playing Minecraft since very early Beta versions, and I have become moderator / been opped on servers that I would consider to be mature based servers. I don't want to be seen as the type of person that boasts, but I have been told many times on servers that they thought I was at least 18 years old or more because of the way I act and interact with others. I think that I can contribute to servers in very positive ways, especially in the way that I find I get along with other members in almost all cases.
Cobbleton is a server that I would much like to be a member of. I have been looking for a very, very long time for a server that looks like a close knit, mature, friendly place to enjoy this game. I would love to be a member of this server, and I hope that you would consider me.
One more thing:
I would like you to know that I am in no way "addictied" to video games. I will always put school work first, so if I ever am off for a longer time than I usually am, it is most likely because of something I am puting first in my list of priorities.
