Hey there minecrafters! I’m OffRaindrop13, one of the admins of ContraptionCraft, the others being Gathering and joeturn007, and there’s our owner, llamaworm35. A few weeks ago, we reset our world and have been working on a hermitcraft-style purely vanilla server, with several different types of play-styles, all achieving what they want to achieve, with a few command blocks. The command blocks we have are:

• Ender dragon drop – drops an elytra, dragon head, and egg.
  
• AFK detector – mentions when the player has been afk for 5 minutes, and keeps their name grey in the tab menu
  
• Shulker drop – 100% of dropping one shulker shell, 50% of dropping two.
  
• One-player sleeping – One player sleeps through the night, with an option to kick them out if you want night
  

Previously we have made mistakes on recruitment – we got many ‘one-time’ players, who played a ton for the first week, but got busy or just got bored. We aren’t going to make this mistake again. Now, we are only looking for dedicated, motivated players. Please do not waste your time, or our time, if you aren’t like this. Our server doesn’t plan on resetting for a while (3+ months), and we’d like to see you progress over that whole time.



We have many players that are active and are following our few rules we have:

Why would you want to join us?

Well, our nether hub just got started, and a few have been working on it. The server’s spawn is a busy place now, filled with shops, small farms and such. Large scale projects are being started now too, such as iron/gold farms, huge bases etc. We have several awesome players that are dying for more people to play with – and hopefully that’s you. I’m proud to be a part of our friendly (and funny) community. We hope that you find that, too.

Do you have any special, big plans of yours on our world?: I plan to build the iron titan as a public server iron farm, and have a huge base on a mushroom island that has as many farms on it as possible. I really enjoy working with redstone, especially trying to create my own designs for old farms.

Will things like school starting soon severely hurt the amount of time you’ll be able to play?: For me the starting of school should be fine. You may see slightly less activity from me, but not much.

Why do you play Minecraft? I love playing Minecraft, just because I can let loose, build whatever I want, be silly, and when I finally complete a big project, the feeling I get from it is simply incredible, motivating me to do more. I play on SMPs over SSPs because I need people playing around me, finishing their own projects and such to keep me going.
