Hi there, and welcome to CretinCraft.
About us
CretinCraft is a small community server established around June of 2014. Our main aim here at CretinCraft is to provide our community with the kind of gameplay that you, the players want. Unlike most servers, we greatly accept and consider any suggestions or feedback we may get, which, in turn, goes to a majority vote within the high ranks of our staff team.
We currently focus mainly on our Vanilla Survival Multi-Player server, which includes grief prevention, some small custom plugins to make both moderation and playing the server that little bit more fun, automated ranks, friendly staff, and anti-DDoS protection courtesy of our host.
Server Specs
Our server currently runs on OVH's VPS Classic 3 which comes with 3 vCores CPU, 4GB RAM, a 50GB Raid 10 Hard drive, and automatic Anti-DDoS protection. This enables us to run smoothly with a small community like our own, but we eventually plan to host the server on a dedicated server to decrease server lag, and allow us to expand the amount of player slots we can have open at any one time.
Meet the Team
Like our community as a whole, our Administration team is small but tight-knit.
There is, of course, myself; My in-game username is Epistolizer, but everyone on the server knows me as Josh (I mean, why not, It's the name my parents gave me as a birthday present and it kinda stuck) I'm that guy that pays for the hosting and gets everyone else to do the work.
Then there's the Systems Operator; With an in-game name of Tehp1xel, this rare beast is more commonly known as the Jimmy, often used as a slave by Queen Josh to do pretty much everything, the Jimmy recently recruited an assistant to take away his back breaking load.
This assistant, of sorts, is our other Systems Operator. Jckf, or Jim, set up our basic forums (found here) and continues to help Jimmy and myself with the configuration of the server, along with helping me out whenever Jimmy's not online.
We also have our Head Admin; Darkcrafter110, or Clayton as most may know him, manages the lower ranks of our administrative team, along with helping myself and Jimmy make any big decisions about the server (game changing plugins, staff applications, etc) Clayton was picked for the job due to his knack for being both stern, yet fair with players, and his welcoming attitude towards newbies.

We are now planning to remove our Creative server and instead add a Factions PvP server to our network.
The Factions server will be added during the course of the next week.

And yes, I do allow cursing on my server, because I myself curse a lot. If you're 12 years old this probably isn't the server for you because it requires a bit more of a mature sense of humor.
The world and population are nice. The staff is plain rude.
