In a nut shell, the goal here is to provide a server that is close to vanilla roots but give players access to more enriched features such as ranking up, custom terrain, pets, PvP, exploration, and much more. It's also important that when adding said features, that the game play remains familiar and difficult so people aren't easily bored. For this reason, the server difficulty is set to hard, and there will be additional modifications to difficulty as the server grows and more features are added (e.g: difficulty that scales based on player performance). This leaves room for better armor, more intense pvp, and more interesting survival mechanics; which in turn yields better experiences with our economy. PvP can be toggled on and off for those who want to partake in serious pvp battles, economies are player run with an admin shop that provides nifty prizes for hard work in the server, the terrain is custom generated so every experience is new and fresh, protection for your home is as simple and placing a block, and ranks require tasks to be completed to progress.

Optional PvP: You are able to decide when you want to pvp. However, there are restrictions to prevent abuse. This means you cannot log out during a fight or use commands to teleport away. You are stuck in combat for a period of time. Once that time is up you are free to make your get away. You will be rewarded with cash for each successful player kill, and you will lose money for each death (half as much as you earn, so it balances out). This should encourage PvP groups.

Custom Terrain: I get bored with the default world generator, so there is now a new one thanks to the modding community. Not much else needs to be explained here, come in game and see for yourself!

Waypoints: If you're familiar with Gw2 then you know what these are. If not, way points are little teleporting stations built across the world to enable ease of travel. Having instant access to teleporting commands drains the fun out of survival and exploration so this was the compromise between the two.

Ranks: I know, not exactly original, but how many servers have you played on where you have to pay for ranks/only stay online? Ranks should be more dynamic, and these are! In order to rank up you will have to complete a specific list of tasks. They could range from killing mobs, to crafting an item, to catching a fish, or simply traveling by foot/on a horse. But the amount of possible tasks doesn't stop there.

Dedicated Event Team: While we don't have one yet, I do plan to create one and their sole purpose will be to create and host events for everyone to participate in. A server with nothing interesting happening is a dead server, and we don't want another one of those.

It's almost done, don't give up yet! This part is short and sweet. Our economy is player operated with an admin shop that will eventually contain neat items for you to purchase and enjoy. The best part is is that it wont cost you a single penny! This server is 100% EULA compliant which means you will never see a feature here that can be unlocked with real life money. There isn't even a booster! All expenses are paid out of pocket simply because hosting servers is fun, nothing more. Donations are welcome, but will never be asked for!
