Welcome to Downfall, a fresh and new server for both new and experienced players. In this world you will spawn in the Serenity, the city and hub for the server.
It's a big and beautiful city that will give you a warm welcome. In the city you will find it all, protection, info, rules, PvP hub and even portals out in the world.
And beyond those walls, behind the giant gates there is an open world full with adventure, exploration and of course PvP.

The Downfall server goal is to give the players a Minecraft world when they can play with their friend. A world you build, explore, farm, mine and survive.

It is just the same minecraft you all have installed on your computer, no new blocks, mobs or game mechanics. Just the original Minecraft you all know and love, but this time you are not alone. Our server opens a giant map that everyone have access to, so now you need to hide your diamonds folks.

Thanks to the Faction plug-in you can easily create you own factions, and help you and you team to survive in this world. We give you the world and a city to rest in, but after that, it is all up to you the player.

The features of the Downfall server.

Open World:

We give you an open world where there is no law. It's PvP everywhere so find a trusting team and build yourself a safe hideout.
The server is from Minecraft 1.4, so all the newest additions from mojang is there. It's just the regular minecraft you all know how to play.

Serenity City:

Serenity is the first place you will see when you visiting Downfall. The city is a PvP free zone that is protected from mobs and other players, and you have always an option to return here.

This city gives you the opportunities to buy and sell building materials, food, farm equipments, armor and weapons. So instead of throwing your crap away sell it and buy something you can use.

Head-start Portals:
Serenity may be connected to the world and players are more than welcome to just walk thru those big gates and start their adventures.
However in the city you have a building that give you a chance to get a head start into the wild. 4 portals send you to specific biomes from where you can start your adventure a bit far from the city itself.

Random Structures:
The world is generated just like every other server diamond, lava, strongholds and mobs are just where they always bin. But in this world you may find some structures with treasure in them.

The Downfall server gave the exploration part of this server a small twist and added abounded, tricky and very helpful structures and buildings, and believe me, you want to find them.

Everyone have some sort of treasure hidden somewhere but beware they may be deadly traps. I will give you a tip: Finding a farm will help players hunger but the weird ghost ship may have something more than what you may want.
