Hi, and welcome to Lolnet FTB

The server currently runs Ultimate pack Version 1.0.1. This may change as the recommended version for Ultimate updates and becomes stable. Lolnet is the biggest FTB server in NZ with a good group of casual and (in most cases) mature gamers. Many of us have a large knowledge of the mods in FTB and are happy to share knowledge and let you scope out our builds. The town around spawn has many examples of technology from various mods. Ito s all being built the old fashioned way, with no creative help. If you see something you want to learn more about, just ask us.

Server Features:
-A large and expanding spawn with working examples from different mods.
-Tick Threading for a lack of lag.
-Helpful staff and admins. Several of us can restart the server if it lags or crashes, and our game time is spread out over the day.
-Special Worlds created with Mystcraft for mining and exploring.
-A bit of a challenge. The server is on hard mode. Mobs hit harder, and you starve if you dono t eat. Power Armor, Bees, and Gregtech use the more difficult settings and recipes. You wono t be beating the game and bored in 3 days.
-Mobgriefing is on. You can disable it in your town.
-Use your town spawn for your home. There is no /sethome command, and no /tpa. Linkbooks are useful, learn to use them.
-Mishaps in the Nether/End/Twilight do to lag or the inherent problems in these dimensions is part of the risk. No refunded items.
Rules:
-No spamming chat. Think a bit about what you have to say. Dono t yell o Laaag!o o yolo!o . Its just spam, and will get you /kicked to remind you to knock it off.
-No ALL CAPS.
-No racism. Dono t be abusive to fellow players. Probably best to stay away from discussions involving religion, race, politics, and music.
-Dono t ask for creative, to be moderator, or an admin. Not Happening.
-No griefing, no stealing. If ito s not yours, leave it alone. Keep the trolling to a minimum and let people play their game in peace.
-Mytown plugin is available to protect your stuff. No refunds of items if you dono t bother to use it and get griefed. (Although weo ll still ban the griefer.) You get 8 chunks per player. Ito s easy to make a town and protect your things.
-PVP is on, but has rules. Friends want to go at each other, no problem, go have fun. But dono t kill people without consent. PVP is also permissible for home defense. Dono t want someone to whack you with a chainsaw? Then stay out of my castle unless invited.
-Quarries, turtles, and other large mining setups may only be used in the mining worlds.
-Dono t beg for items, food, or freebies. Go earn it.
-Only use rainmakers to stop rain.
-Be careful about Flux.
-Anything that causes lag to the server is bad, and will be removed. Dono t pack 1000 sheep in a room with an autofeeder. Dono t overflow a sorting system. Build what you like, but youo ll be held responsible for it.
-Quarries use default size.
Banned Items:
These items can cause lag, or be used to grief, or bypass protections. They are gone, and its not open to discussion.
-Portal and Gravity guns.
-Canvas Bags
-Soul Cages
-Fillers and Builders
-Xycraft. This mod can corrupt the files and ruin worlds. We had to restart because of it. Xycraft is not loaded, you wono t find the ores at all.
-Minium stone. (No EE).
-Chunkloaders, world anchors, etc
-Bookbinder.
-Nukes
