GalacticMC is a survival, PvE server. We launched mid-June 2015, however we have plans to grow substantially. Many unique ideas were combined to create a server that's not only challenging, but also fun. We are looking to create the community everyone is looking for and we offer a unique minecraft experience
Story of GalacticMC3
Beta Mode
GalacticMC is currently in "Beta" mode. This means that although the server is up and running, we are still adding things. Currently, there is only one planet players can use. The name is Glypso. This is a custom generated world using TerrainControl and custom objects such as ruins and trees. In total, the server will have about 8 planets, but we are still working on that portion.
PvE vs PvP
Although most of our server will remain PvE, there will be at least one planet where PvP will be enabled. This will not be your average PvP however. We intend to make it a challenge. For instance, difficulty on the world will be set to hard, we will have a plugin that would enable damage effects such as bleeding and overall it will be hard enough for players to just survive.
Why would you even want to visit this planet? Extra resources. Although we don't limit resources on any of our planets, the PvP planet will have more resources than usual. This means that an hour spent mining will bring you a lot more than mining on any other planet. The only question is, are you brave enough to visit, and of course, are you good enough to make it back alive?
Creative World and SkyBlock
We have installed a Creative plot world and SlyBlock! Nothing is more fun than this!
Staff
Do not join if you're only looking to be a staff member. The answer is very simple: No
We have a staff application form on our website with very strict requirements. Read it, make sure you fit the criteria, and you can apply. Mentioning a staff application or simply asking to be staff in chat will most likely have consequences.
Technical Info
Our server is hosted on a dedicated server to reduce lag as much as possible. Although the player limit is currently set to 50, the server would be able to easily support over 1000 players.

It was the year 3000, World War III had been raging on for fifty years. The warring countries were on the verge of a nuclear war. Faced with the possibility of the extinction of the human race, scientists developed a means of preserving humans and other species of flora and fauna by cryogenically freezing them. 10,000 civilians and a multitude of other species were placed in a space station with a group of highly trained space crew.
The aftermath of the nuclear war, however, was underestimated. The bombs that were launched hit every inch of the planet, rendering the entire Earth lifeless and inhabitable. Unable to return to earth, there was nothing left but for those in the space station to float through space, the possibility of returning to Earth nothing but microscopic glimmer of hope in the vast and dark universe.
A thousand years passed. The crew dead and long gone, only the station's automated electronic system kept the cryogenically frozen inhabitants alive. The automated system continually checked of the habitability of Earth as well. Finally, it indicated that the Earth was habitable once more, which set into motion the system’s “Return to Earth” protocol, safely landing the station on the newly replenished planet, and awakening the surviving population.
This is where your adventure begins. It is up to you to rebuild civilization.
