OPEN BETA STAGE!
The whitelist has been lifted.
At this point in development players are welcome to come join and find (not abuse) bugs.
Those who join  are expected to be able to figure things out on thier own and report any things that seam odd/wrong.

Enhanced Vanilla Survival.
Will be aimed at improving vanilla SMP but avoiding modifacation of core mechanics.

The bigest change is how death is handled. When you die you drop ~all your gear and become a ghost. After a cooldown period you will have the options to iether, revive (Lose all your levels but come back to life where you are), or respawn (Come back to life at your home).

Signs: Sneaking while breaking or placing a sign will keep its text.

I have been playing on this server for quite some time and have enjoyed every minute of it. Aside from some initial bugs, the enhanced vanilla mechanics integrate seamlessly with the server. Given time and a larger player base, this server has a real chance of sucess.

If you have had any fun on this server than it has already succeeded. Our goal is not to make money or even get popular. We just want to give any one who wants it, the multiplayer experience they deserve.
Seeing as we want to IMPROVE default Minecraft we have to avoid adding bugs of our own. Thank you, for all playing/testing you have been doing to help find and remove them.

There is no way we will just hand out positions of power. In order to become a Player-Moderator you have to be on the server at least 1 week and obtain rankb or player status. We have taken a lot of time and effort to make this server an enjoyable experience. We are not going to risk letting one random person ruin it for us and everyone playing.
