We are also running our own Minecraft survival server. You can connect over its dns (blackicegames.dyndns-server.com). We have a strict "no cheating stuff"-policy and even our admins comply with it. Its also interesting that we start a new map every new version of Minecraft, so the fun of survival is not taken so quickly. Although we start a new map you will be able to download at least the last version of that map.
