If you are aiming to have a survival world that is just like any single player game and having the plotme world in survival then the only plugins i think you need to keep it simple and easy to manage are: essentials for basic features, plotme for the plot world, permissions bukkit for giving people specific people or groups permission, nocheatplus for keeping people from cheating.
