What kind of server is the MC Badlands?
We are a survival server that focuses on fostering a good sense of community. The MC Badlands has been active since June 2011, and many of our original members are still with us to this day. Come for the game - stay for the friends!
Here’s why you should play on the MC Badlands!
1. We have a fantastic, welcoming environment that's been going for years! Our players build towns, forge alliances with one another, explore our worlds, and have a great time with one another. This isn't just a big group of random people that play Minecraft on the same server - it's a giant group of friends. Once you've built everything you feel like building, there's not much to keep you coming back unless you have friends on the server. The Citizens of the Badlands are a friendly and accommodating bunch, and you'll find yourself wondering why you ever played on any other server once you join them!
2. We’ve withstood the test of time. MC Badlands has been around since 2011, and since then we’ve been run professionally and by adults. This is not a server that's going to go offline tomorrow. We've been here for a long time and we're not going anywhere!
3. We offer and encourage our players to participate in community events and several play-styles. Players can enjoy vanilla survival mode, build extravagantly in our creative world, battle it out with your friends with our PVP mode, or even sit back, relax, and play some games or enjoy our group events!

We do not have Aether (never did) and we don't have FTB anymore, however there are several survival maps we do have, each with different and unique themes. Want Hardcore where anything goes? Come test your luck in the zombie-infested Wastelands. Laugh at heights? The Skylands are just for you. Crave new and fascinating land generation? The Ancientlands will dazzle you. Our main map is open to guests, registered citizens have access to various games and more maps, and VIP options are available.
