Welcome to NewMineland!
With a custom built 1000x1000 spawn world entirely constructed by the players and admins, a 7000x7000 survival world which is still pristine in many areas, and a creative world with sections for whatever you might want to work on, our server has a wealth of opportunity. And with rules which adapt to accommodate many different play styles, you'll likely fit right in!
Our server has been up and running since September of 2010. Since that time, we have moved through 5 different versions, and are currently running the sixth. At the present time, there are no plans for a seventh in the near future, so you can rest assured that what you build will stand for months to come. Our admin staff has been with the server since its early days and is dedicated to keeping the server moving forwards for many years.
While you build in game, you might also be interested in joining the vibrant and active community of NewMineland. We have a Skype group and many clans on the server - some with Skype groups of their own! Some members of our server have been around since the server's creation, and many of them have made close friendships in the time since they joined. We advertise on sparse occasions, so after a few months, we'll likely settle back to our usual amount of players - hopefully with some new faces!
We don't have all that many game changing plugins - we prefer to keep as true to the survival experience as possible. However, to allow players a chance to build big and not fear griefing, small plots can be purchased in game which will protect an area. Larger plots are also available to protect a 101x101 area. Many clans work with these.
WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN A PAY TO WIN SERVER. Donations are accepted, and perks are offered to players who do so - but diamonds, enchantments, armor, and op is not given to those who donate. You can create your own clan if you have the necessary resources, purchase your own survival plot to protect your belongings, go build your favorite pixel-arts inside our creative world, and then participate in the server's day to day affairs without ever having to spend a single dime.
The server rules are, at their simplest, to use common sense. Griefing in survival is allowed so long as the area isn't protected. Spamming the chat isn't allowed. Bigotry is not permitted. Advertising other servers is not permitted. Listen to the staff. Simple stuff.

Our survival is tough, with grieving allowed, providing for a true PvP challenge while also allowing for teamwork. We have a creative sub world for those who prefer to free-build, we have a pixel-art sub world, even a hardcore sub world where it is permanently dark..
I've been on this server since october 2010 and never left. It's a fun place to hang out, even if you're just searching for some guys to hang out and chat with.
