*sigh* R.I.P MuffinTown. was the best server i have ever played on, and will remain as that forever. it brought together so many players in a huge, friendly community, held awesome and unforgetable events, and was just overall amazing. i feel that i speak for the majority of the MT community that this server will surely be missed, and respect whatever reason SomewhatMuffin had for taking it down. i think that i should thank all of the staff involved, old and new, Fluffysquirrel, Gateway, Snugs, Marvel, Afrokimchee, Aarrowz, Patrickshan, obviously Muffin, and of course you, the player, for making this server such a great experience for me and so many other people. my sincerest thanks. I hope, although doubt, that one day in the near future Muffin will realize his mistake and reopen the server, despite the fact that he will most likely never see this. in the case that you are reading this, muffin, thank you so much for the experience that you have given me by creating MuffinTown, and maybe we'll meet again someday. ~franco out

Hey franco, sorry I am reading this 4 months later, but incase you are reading this I really appreciate what you have written. Thank you so much for being a great and loyal player on MuffinTown. You and everyone else deserve to know the reasons I had for taking down the server. Going into my sophmore year of highschool and traveling a lot to play a competitive sport, I did not have nearly enough time to keep the server running well, or even just to simply play minecraft. I too really enjoyed the community on MuffinTown and will miss it sincerely. Perhaps one day I will see ya'll on minecraft again. Maybe even open a new server! (Unfortunately many parts of the MuffinTown server were deleted on accident while I was away on vacation because did not realize the host was terminating the server...) Anyways, please keep in touch!
