Hello and welcome. Its always been my dream to build a massive server along with participating in a HUGE guild/faction combat full out war with mods. Just the different combos of supporters and tanks and DPS have always been cool. So here I present my first attempt to make a MMO RPG guild server.
Due to the modpack being to be for people the "Whats needed" tab has been updated to the new, needed, modpack!!!!
WHATS NEEDED: The AT Launcher and the mod pack Divergence. When installing select Hard mode (default). Realisic Terrain and any client side modes you want.

STATUS: Okay so heres the true test of courage and where most of you I feel will be scared off. The servers in beta. I'm looking for players to play test, suggest, and build the server with me and close friends. ANYONE who stays from BETA to release will be administrated and /or will become a teacher (that will be explained)
Ranks: I will need builders during beta. I will need to see consistency so to qualify you need to play atleast 3 days a week and atleast have 3 buildings (built in survival) that i find impressive. I need "teachers" a rank that will be given once the server is in full running mode. Teachers are masters of a mod in the mod college and will teach a class in game once a week on something in there mod. to qualify you need to play during the beta semi religiously and beat the mod you are mastering. The rest are typical staff ranks along with a coder for essentials plugin to set commands. With a few ranks in the discord.
EVENTS: I want to make some events that involve role playing. Really make an escape from reality server. Dungeons, holidays, city events, guild events, and a lot more to brain storm.

HERES THE DREAM: For those who want to escape, find something better in reality. That what this place is for. The suicidal, depressed, recovery. Reality talk is planned to be very limited. those RPG animes, comics, and fantasy games that really immerse you like skyrim are the role models. I'm really hoping some are pulled by this and I hope to see you in game.

Also another point i'd like to raise, this server has A L O T of mods, and by alot i mean ALOT. My client just stopped trying to run it altogether, and I think that will really impede on the amount of players you'll receive (not everyone has an amazing computer, I can run MC and other games perfectly fine but this modpack really strains it). So maybe you could find an alternative, maybe pick and pluck mods from the pack that really make the server what it is and discard the rest so people can really join and play, because so far its not the "server in beta" that makes people turn away, its the terrifying amount of mods.
Theres a large amount of servers that can host an RPG feel (even some that dont require mods), but you and your servers message is what makes it unique, maybe play around with that :)
