Come play on a lag free (No bull) server with a huge community, very low lag, and very fun server. We play the game the way it is meant to be played, there is no flying, and there is no item spawning or cuboiding, we want the creations on our world to take hard work and effort, everybody will appreciate it more in the long run!
Some things that make MonsterCraft unique from a lot of servers, performance wise.
* We don't use mechanical moving harddrives OR Solid State Drives, we use the system RAM to store the world, which gives an input/output of over 1300MB/S data transfer! Chunks load FAST.
* We run on our own dedicated box, on a 100Mbps uplink in Central USA
* We use Java 7.
How to play on MonsterCraft:
1. Go to monstercraft.net. Make an account on the forum~]
2. Click on the FORUM Tab at the top of the page, and scroll down to the bottom, you'll see a forum category named "Applications" or use this link:
monstercraft.net/forums/applications.16/
3. Inside the Applications forum, read the sticky thread named "Bucknasty's Application (Example)" And copy the template out there. This link will also take you to the example thread "monstercraft.net/threads/bucknastys-application-example.236/"
4. Make a new thread in the Applications forum, and fill out the template, it will be revised quickly
5. When you're accepted, join the server and start building!
Why you should play on MonsterCraft:
* The server is months old, we know how to run a good Bukkit server! :)
* The world is fairly developed, and will be around for months to come. It expands when it's current borders get to be too tight
* We have a developed Community!
* The Admin, Huts, is dedicated, he won't leave you high and dry.
* Moderator's are Mature!
* We have a ROBUST website & forum @ monstercraft.net
* VERY low grief, you can never control it 100%, but we rarely get it, so your stuff will be safe!
* We run multiple Anti-grief plugins as well, like LogBlock, that logs all block history and allows us to undo grief. We also have Lockette so you can lock chests!
* Whitelist, we just don't want there to be any griefers!
The staff team are true Minecraft junkies, we play the game to have fun, and try to keep drama to a minimum, it usually works out well. Most people are great friends, and we want more people to love. <3
The more the server grows, the more powerful it gets, and the better your experience will be, as the more people there are the more feedback we'll get about our game hosting services.
