We are a close, small scale, trust-based kingdom community server with a whitelist located in Northern Europe created about 3 weeks ago. We play on a limited sized map (1600x1600) and currently have about 8 active players. There are 4 kingdoms, each ruling over one type of biome. These are the Desert, the Swamp, the Beach and the Extreme Hills/Mountains. Next to that, there is also a grand spawn place.
If you are joining, you can choose to join any of these kingdoms or start your own kingdom. There are some ruins on a coast and river biome, out of which a new kingdom can be built. The other biome available is a Taiga/Forest Biome, in which nothing has been built yet. If you choose to start your own kingdom, we recommend you to ask at least one friend to join you!
If you choose to leave your kingdom at any point, you can and you are allowed to build something on your own, but you will then be known as an outlaw and you will not be protected.

This server runs on 1.11.2 and we use several plugins, the most important of which are mcMMO for the RPG feeling, Essentials and BookShelf, which allows books and maps to be stored in bookshelves.
Next to the plugins, the server also organised in game events, such as tournaments. Also quests are available and updated and several legendary items are spread over the map, which can be found by solving riddles or doing quests.
When you first join, you will be teleported to your kingdom, but after that, teleportation is disabled for players. This makes everything more realistic and it is no problem, as the map size is limited.
