Nation Domination is a unique clan based PVP server that uses a radically different model to that of most other PVP servers. Most servers don't put enough focus onto the PVP element and everyone stays confined to building their bases without going out and regularly fighting. We aim to create a balance of both Fighting and Building elements with our unique model.Another challenge in a lot of PVP servers is players cheating to gain an unfair advantage over another player. Our model aims to eliminate this as much as possible without putting a large toll on the server with anti-cheat plugins that would cripple everyone's gaming performance. We've banned diamonds from the map entirely in order to prevent X-Ray hacks from being useful. You cannot mine diamonds, nor pick them up off the ground. We encourage an alternative way of gaining these items through a shop based system that allows you to sell resources such as redstone, ironingot, watermelon and various other items. With the money you gain from selling these resources you can use them towards buying diamond swords, diamond legs and various other armour and gear. Enchantments are currently not implemented but will be very expensive when they are because of their very high damage rates. Any other cheating such as fly hacks, speed hacks etc. we have a system in place to detect this unusual behavior. We do not ban people when the system detects this, simply because we cannot prove it was not an error on the part of the plugin (due to lag etc.) but the plugin will stop them from performing any unusual action anyway so they won't get any unfair advantage. Should they find a way to bypass this security however, we will of course ban them straight up as it's obvious they are hacking. We hope this strong emphasis on fair game-play alongside our unique PVP concept will encourage people to become an active part of this server.
