Welcome to the official Neon guide! This guide will outline the key features of the server and how to use them. If you are looking for something in particular please search the page using ctrl + f.
This brief section of the guide includes some of the most important information about the server and outlines changes made that may affect what you decide to do.
Block Protection
In order to limit 'unraidable' bases the following blocks will be destroyed when hit by 6 blocks of TNT. This ignores water/lava protection.

We are running a global economy we have one of the fairest Minecraft server economys in the community

The Uncraftables
Now there is a reason for the following items being uncraftable
o� Anvil
o� Enchantment Table
o� Enderchest
These are uncraftable because we like to maintain a fair server when raids are hardcore and people cannot just stash their diamond blocks etc. in an enderchest or get enchanted items within the hour of playing the server, not here not at Neon, we made it harder to obtain these items too push the idea of a hardcore server with a good economy put it this way no one wants to have to pvp a protection 4 diamond user just upon joining!
How to obtain the uncraftables
The only way to get these items is
o� Voting
o� Buying from the in game shop /buy
Claiming Land
Anything that is within four chunks of Spawn is likely to be regenerated at any time.. We strongly advise that you make your bases away from spawn regions in order to avoid your base being lost in the future.
Voting
Voting is an excellent way for you to gain bonuses per vote you recieve
o� $85 Cash
o� 1 Dragon Egg - To trade with our special villagers at /warp vote
o� 4 Obsidian
o� 2 XP Bottles
When you vote there is also chance of getting lucky!
If you are lucky you can obtain any of the following
o� Obsidian
o� Anvils
o� Enchantment Tables
o� Enderchests
o� 4 TNT
o� Extra Cash
o� Extra Cash and XP
o� Diamonds
o� Obsidian
o� Creepereggs
As well as the standard rewards, your vote total for each month is also counted. If you are the top voter of the month you will receive a free Redstone Kit.
You can vote up to six times daily, so please support us each day.
Plugins
Factions
The main plugin fueling the Neon Pvp server is Factions. This plugins allows you to team up with friends (or go solo if you wish) and create a Faction. Once you have created a Faction you can claim land and build yourself an empire - or a modest dirt hut if that is what you prefer! If you own the land, players from other factions cannot build/destroy there without using TNT cannons or creepers.
Commands
/f create (factionname) - If you want to create your own faction use this command, replacing (factionname) with the desired name of your faction
/f claim [radius] - This will claim the current chunk you are standing in for your faction, from bedrock to sky. Enter an optional radius to claim surrounding chunks too
/f sethome - This command will set the home of the faction to where you are currently standing
/f home - If you want to return to the faction home, use this command
/f mod (name) - Promotes the given person faction Moderator - This means they can claim, unclaim land and set faction home
/f disband - Will disband the faction, kicking all players and unclaiming all land.
/f (ally/truce/enemy/neutral) (factionname) - Will set the given relationship to the given faction
Combat Tag
There is a tag when you enter combat when you are pvping to check whether you are in combat or not us this command!

Magic Spells
The only way to obtain a MagicSpell is by fiding a spell tomb (bookshelf) in the area of and around spawn some bookshelfs will not have spell binded to them others will

What it does - Silence other users to stop them casting spells for a short time
Casted With - Blaze Rod
Cost - 15 Mana
Duration - 90 Seconds
Cleanse
What it does - Clears you of negative potion effects
Casted With - Stick
Cost - 30 Mana
Duration - Instant
Confusion
What it does - Makes nearby mobs become confused and attack each other
Casted With - Bone
Cost - 30 Mana
Duration - Instant
Farm
What it does - Grows crops with 8 blocks of you
Casted With - Stick
Cost - 50 Mana and 2 Seeds
Duration - Instant
Conjure
What it does - Conjures some potion regents
Casted With - Stick
Cost - 0 Mana
Duration - Instant
Gills
What it does - Lets to breath under water for a period of time
Casted With - Stick
Cost - 50 Mana and 1 Sugarcane
Duration - 300 Seconds
Purge
What it does - Kills all monsters and passive mobs nearby
Casted With - Bone
Cost - 50 Mana
Duration - Instant
Armor
What it does - Conjures some special enchanted armor
Casted With - Stick
Cost - 25 Mana and 1 Golden Nugget
Duration - 30 Seconds

Commands
/shop - List of all shop commands some of these are Administrator commands and you will not have access
/sell - Sell all of any item in your inventory
e.g /sell sugarcane all
/sell - Sell all of any item in your inventory
e.g /sell sugarcane 10
/shopcheck - See how much an item buys and sells for
e.g /shopcheck tnt
/shoplist - Lists all of the shop items
e.g /shoplist 1(Page 1)
Silk Spawners
When you first join as a basic user you have the abilities to do two spawner related things
[1] Silk touch any cCave Spider spawner with a Silk Touch pickaxe
[2] /spawner chicken - Change any spawner to a chicken spawner
Auctions
Auc is an auction plugin here on Neon PvP that allows players to safely buy and sell their items in auction based sales. When you sell an item you will be subject to an auction fee of $150. In order to sell an item, just hold it in your hand and use the command from below then place the item and amount in the gui that appears.
Commands
/auc - The base command for Auctions, and will show some basic help
/auc info - Provides detailed information about the current auction
/auc start - Start an auction to sell an item
/bid - To bid on a current item
/auc listen - Listen into auctions so they appear in your chat
/auc ignore - Ignore auctions in chat
/auc cancel - Cancels the current auction. Can only be done during the first half of the auction
** Note ** It is always best to specify a bid rather than let it bid for you as this will stop you paying more than you may want to.
Mob Arena (Once Daily)
Mob arenas are small arenas that you can join with other players to test your endurance and fight against all types of mobs until the death. They are also a great option if you are looking to improve your PvE. Once you've joined an arena, you have the option to choose one of six classes (sets of gear) to use inside. Just right click the wooden sign of whichever one you've chosen, and click an iron block afterwards to ready up! Once everyone is ready, or the timer has run out, you will be placed inside the arena and the slaughter will begin! Each wave of mobs will get harder, and as you beat them, you will occasionally be awarded prizes. After you've died (or beat the arena!), and are in the spectating room, you can view the leaderboards to see what wave everyone's made it to and who got the most kills, etc. Once you've left, your prizes will automatically be added to your inventory and you can enjoy your winnings.

Q: How big is the map?
A: The main world is currently 15,000 x 15,000 blocks.The nether is currently 2,000 x 2,000 blocks
Q: Why can't I build?
A: You can only build in your own land or the wilderness so get at least 300 blocks from Neonspawn.
Q: How do I become staff?
A: You cannot apply for staff, when you stick out and get to know us a lot we will come to you, you must make player reports to prove you will help us.
Q: How do I donate?
A: It is not called donating it is a payment, by accepting donations it is a breach of the Irish Constitution, we pay tax on ever payment.
Q: Can you please check my appeal/report?
A: Reports and appeals are checked periodically. Asking staff to check them for you will not get them checked any quicker.
Q: Can I use the mod ... ?
A: The only mods we allow are: Optifine, TooManyItems Mod, NotEnoughItems Mod, Shaders Mod. Banned mods include mods that give you an advantage over over players like radars that show player positions, inventory sort mods, hacking clients etc.
Q: Can obsidian be blown up?
A: Yes, obsidian will be blown up after 6 consecutive TNT or Creeper hits.
