Are you looking for a community-oriented server? New Signet, a previously private server, is going public. If you're interested in an accepting and closely knit server, we might be the answer.
We're the kind of community that remembers your name and hopes to catch you online as often as possible. We're the kind of community that appriciates honest friends, work and effort. We're the kind of community that hopes to friend you on Skype and become legitimate and amazing friends, built on everything worth it.

We occasionally hold events, such as the occasional serverwide hunger games, spleef, Teamspeak/Skype gatherings, friendly PVP, End raids, lotteries, parties, feasts, building competitions, auctions; most events are planned by regular players, not administrative staff. For example, a server member may hold a lottery to raise money for a town he was looking to purchase.

What do you look for in a server? If community, an open and friendly staff, equal opportunities and discovering friends that last beyond a simple video game is valuable to you, I heavily encourage you to join New Signet. We have recently added Factions to our server to add a friendly (or not-so-friendly, but still community-centered) element to New Signet.

What is New Signet?

We’re an economy, community-based and factions server. You can choose to be an economical tyrant, a war hero, a town mayor*, a renowned merchant, or all of the above! New Signet contains two main worlds, both of which contribute equally to the entire server.

New Signet Town World:

This is where money means everything-- from owning homes, to renting apartments, to buying supplies, or even starting a business or town. If creating a world-class business is your deal, then simply apply for a bank account and set up a donation/shop center where you can begin to generate revenue for your venue. Has this been done before? Sure has! Meet Ember_Fox, a long-time two-year New Signet member (now a VIP staff member) who owns ER_Foundation (her venue’s bank account), a town and has around 28.5 thousand in-game dollars in her company account.


New Signet Faction/Survival World:

Money means little in the faction world-- you only need money to claim land and possibly buy supplies if you’re unable to provide for yourself. This world is for supplies, survival, MCMMO and factions-- the sky's the limit! However, with MCMMO, you can easily concentrate on becoming the best fighter/fisherman/miner you can be.


*Our server does not have Towny installed; we prefer a custom system where aspiring town owners require more to start a town but also have much more freedom making money and managing their towns.


Are you looking for a new experience? New Signet now offers a Feed The Beast Trident War server. Planes, tanks, guns, fancy furniture and so much more is featured in the downloaded modpack. Every member is assigned to a loosely defined “faction” and able to work on a team base. Additionally, every two weeks, a server-wide war is waged where all factions fight with all they have. There are very little rules in this server, and enforcement is much looser; however, to minimize intolerable behavior such as hacking, unforgivable conduct, and a few select others, there is a one-time membership fee.

New Signet Rules

Absolutely no hacks, mods, unfair texture packs or add-ons that give players a higher and unfair advantage over other players.

Any threats to commit real suicide, homicide or genocide are strictly forbidden. You will be punished for this, because you suck. Do not attempt to bring a dark side to a video game; nothing excuses this, ever.

No asking for positions or gamemodes.

Limit profanities, spamming, crude humor and lying.

Absolutely no bullying, degrading, harassing (physically, verbally or sexually) or blackmailing.

Absolutely no racist, sexist or inhumane jokes/humor/insults.

Do not assume it is your place to punish someone. Please address pressing matters in an adult fashion and bring appropriate information to the staff.

Respect everyone on the server.

Abstain from bringing up past issues already dealt with.

If you do not agree to any of these terms, conditions or rules, you are not permitted on this server.


FTB Rules

No trapdoors (they glitch and crash the entire server).

Switching factions is only permitted on war days.

No hacks, additional mods, or unfair texture packs.

Limit swearing, crude humor or language.

No griefing and stealing is permitted inside of the main neutral base. Additionally, no weapons, explosives or vehicles are allowed inside and will be confiscated indefinitely.


Interested in Applying for Staff?

Staff applications are open in specific time windows only, and will only be open for specific positions. If members will be kept posted on such events on the forums, main website and server, you are sure to hear about window openings. The next staff application window is due to be open from March 23rd, 2016 until May 12th, 2016.

Choose what town suits you! The glam life of Alejandra? The large city of Tilia? The shady happenings of Nightshade? The serene commune of Ember Ridge? The farm outskirts of Strangetown? What town describes you? You decide!
Server players are not without a voice. Do you feel unjustly dealt with, or punished? General concerns and punishment appeals can be done on the forums (you must make an account to view the appeals thread), and staff complaint forms can be filled out here. We will seriously consider any suggestions you may have for our budding server, as long as they are presented cordially (the most accepted place for suggestions would be on the suggestions thread on the forums).
