I USE THE TEKKIT MOD PACK ON THIS SERVER, WHICH YOU WILL NEED IF YOU WANT TO CONNECT. BELOW IS A LINK FOR THE MOD PACK:

to install, download the tekkit 3.1.2 server along with the launcher above it.
expand the tekkit zip file that you get from the download. (make sure to expand it in a new folder, there are a lot of files and things can get pretty messy.
run the server file
finally, run the launcher

If you have never played, or heard of Tekkit, I highly recommend you check it out. The mod pack adds endless possibilities to Minecraft. Create factories, nuclear power plants, tools to assist with mining (quarries, mining lasers, drills) and Tons more. I have been playing it for about a year, and I still find new things to do on it every time I play. Since I can't explain everything that Tekkit offers, here's a short video that sums up the basics:

I finished building a Tekkit tutorial room that will teach new Tekkit players all the basics that they will need to know to get started!
I'm also proud to say that I do not ask for any donations to run the server and never will. It is Free and always will be.

~24/7! The only expected down time is for adding a new plugin. So theoretically 99.9% uptime
~12GB Ram allocated towards the server, i can add more if it slows down at all
~Plugins that allow teleportation to certain locations, Lag killers and Environment Managers to make sure everyone has a good time and has all the resources they'll need!
~Built the Computer the server is ran off with my own two hands, yes I am a nerd. and yes, this will give you a better minecraft experience!

yeah the server is still running, sorry if it was down if you tried to log on, i was having some problems with my internet connection. Everything's fine now though
