A Minecraft Server

Greetings!


OldHaven represents a community of long time Minecraft players who enjoy going back to older versions of Minecraft. We're seeking to recreate the classic Minecraft experience without any fuss. We're a PvE server, so you can focus on relaxing and building whatever you want without worrying about your stuff getting destroyed. This is further insured by Factions (which have been set up to work like Towny that is unfortunately quite buggy in this version) and an active staff team with logging and rollback plugins.

We're looking for fresh, enthusiastic players who would like to enjoy the simple and straight forward Minecraft as it used to be!

Rules

1. We will not tolerate griefing of any kind. If we find clear evidence that you've damaged or destroyed a player's property with malicious intent, you'll be getting a month long ban at the very least. Begging for an unban or otherwise beying annoying may only prolong your sentence.

2. No cheats, hacks or exploits are allowed. This includes but is not limited to X-ray, Killaura, Freecam, duping. Depending on the offense, ban length can range from a week to a couple of months, it is up to the moderator's discretion to decide.

3. Chat/Discord rules:

  3a. No spamming. Punished by a warning at first, repeated offenders are muted.

  3b. Excessive amounts of trash talking, hate speech, racism, etc. may also result in a mute.

  3c. No advertisements. Mentioning a server name in a conversation doesn't count as an advertisement, but stuff like Discord server links definitely do.

  3d. Don't create random drama. Take your drama to DMs instead, that means talking about other servers disrespecfully  too.

4. The overworld is a PvP-free zone, however, the nether is not. Therefore, the following ways of killing people are forbidden and a bannable offense:

  4a. TP trapping from the overworld to the nether

  4b. Using items such as lava or fire to intentionally kill people

  4c. Other unspecified ways of killing people in the overworld

5. We allow alt accounts to be used for various purposes. However, using alt accounts to evade bans or giving more free chunks to towns is strictly forbidden. Evading a ban will instantly double your sentence, no questions asked. Anyone who evades a ban and continues to break the rules while doing so will be permanently IP banned.
