Welcome to the official thread of Peaktopia. Peaktopia is a new community based on bringing as many clans and individuals under one roof for a massive community. We currently host our own 100 slot, custom made, 10000 by 10000 server complete with starter and war-torn regions. Come join us as we attempt to recreate the best server possible!
Economy
Economy in the factions is player made and in game item based. There is real world money that can be stored and even stolen. Shops and services can be set up and full-fledged economies can be forged through the clever use of in-game mechanics and minimal plug-in help. But be wary as players can loot your dead body if they find you in woods or if you leave your shop open and things unlock they can simply take it. Thieving is allowed as a part of the clan and will be dealt with within each faction individually. Becoming a thief will be a harsh life once caught however and trying to join the straight life again will be something not easily done. If yoiu find that a faction is spying or organized in the stealing your goods start a war! Mass up faction members and attack with furry!
Raids and chance:
Meeting a player from an opposing faction in which you are at war, or even at peace, means that you can kill that player if you so desire. Though repercussions for killing a player of a faction that you are allied with may give you jail time or even start a war. All people, buildings, and land in the wilderness are fair game and PvP in these lands are unrestricted. The only thing we ask is that you dono t overly destroy things by using lava/water to cover land or placing blocks places. We ask you to be respectful to your fellow clanmates and only steal what is worthy of stealing and to leave their house, or lands mostly untouched. Over destroying things will be dealt with by the discretion of the King.
Wars and Battles:
Wars can be waged to take control of key locations and fortresses. Battles will be placed on a clan wide calendar with the given time and date that the battle will take place. All members in the clan will be given a chance to take part in the battle even if your faction isno t currently part of the war. These full-scale battles will be role-played as to limit the amount of destruction to a kingdoms creation and to increase the realism of a given battle.
If a battle takes place at a fortress each side will be given a number of lives based on the honor system to defend or to take control of the fortress by capturing a location within it. Certain siege techniques will be allowed such as setting up of catapults (tnt cannons), a specific tunneling location if they choose to do so, and a chest with ladders in it at the base of the wall in which to use to scale the wall. The winner of the battle will be decided and monitored by an admin and then a peaceful transition of control of the location will be handled.
Jobs:
Factions are constantly in need of supplies and materials to fuel their war. When you join a faction you must contribute to these needs. Get a job as a soldier, miner, explorer, spy, crafter, and much more!
We even have specilizations like a demolition expert, a redstone expert and even fighting experts. If you want to get a job contact a faction leader.
