Start a town, create an empire! Welcome to The Goon Docks!
We are a community-driven SMP server. If you want to just play the game and chat with friendly people, then this is the server for you!
The Goon Docks uses Towny to encourage players to work in teams and it adds some competition to the mix as well. Make friends, start a town and together, you can build something great! We also use mcMMO... because well... it's awesome.
New to the server and not ready to start a town? No problem! Just stay in the hotel until you find one to join (we have a few already) or have enough money to start your own.
Hate towny and dono t want to be in a town at all? Also no problem! Just save your money and buy a player plot instead. You can also build in the wild if you wish, but do so at your own risk because it is not grief protected!
Into PvP? Great because towns can declare war on one another! You can also just walk around and kill people too, I suppose. Whatever floats your boat.
Love minigames? So do we! Every so often, a minigame will be hosted where you can win some great prizes. We have a few now and will be adding more post-Beta. And speaking of Betao ¦
[BETA Notes]
The Goon Docks is current in open (no whitelist) Beta. We encourage players to look for glitches and will reward you for every legit bug reported. During Beta, you can create a town at no cost and /fly will be given to players (at our discretion) to find a place to build.
