PolisCraft

Howdy everyone! I have just taken off the whitelist for a server that I have created called PolisCraft - Player Made, Player Driven.

Right now there are minimal rules to the server (to be added upon at a late).

Have you ever been part of a server that is perfect for you, but over
time, starts to slip away from what it once was? Or have you been a
part of a server that started out great, but could have been made better
with the addition to a few rules, plugins, or minigames.

Well PolisCraft might be the server for you! Similar to a CivCraft
game, this server will be influenced heavily by the player's wants. At a
certain point (once it is off the ground), elected representatives from
the server will be the ones in charge of determining virtually every
aspect of the server. Mods and Admins, will have very real oversight by
these reps.

It is my hope that very real player influence will keep the server not only alive, but allow it to grow for some time.

The server is currently running on the latest version of Spigot. Hope to see you there!


Currently the rules are as follows:

Server Name: PolisServer



ARTICLE I - The Server Owner is the final arbiter for any (not
limited to) question, interpretation, feasibility, of any rule or
enforcement thereof. The Server owner may, at their discretion veto any
piece of legislation provided that he gives an adequate explanation as
to why it was vetoed.


ARTICLE II - The legislative body shall be composed of 7 players. 4
of the 7 players shall be designated as Representatives, and shall be
elected by the players in the server for a term that consists of 120
days and may not serve again for 240 days after the last day of their
term expires. 3 of of the 7 players shall be designated as Senators, and
shall be elected by the players in the server to a term that consists
of 240 days and may serve for two terms consecutively before they become
ineligible for for 240 days before they may be elected again.

• • ARTICLE II Subsection (a) - The legislative body shall be responsible for voting on whether to implement certain constitutional amendments, rules, mods, and any other regulations seen fit by the body.
    

• • ARTICLE II Subsection (a) subsubsection (i) - A legislative member must be present to cast a vote on any issue.
    

• • ARTICLE II Subsection (b) - It shall be the prerogative of any member of the legislative body to put a piece of legislation on the docket for consideration by the legislative body.
    

• • ARTICLE II Subsection (c) - Legislation shall be considered in the order in which it is received by the server owner.
    

• • ARTICLE II Subsection (d) - Constitutional amendments must have unanimous consent by the legislative body, and any other rule may be implemented with 2/3 approval of the legislative body. ARTICLE I of this constitution cannot be amended by the legislative body, the players, or any other entity other than the Server Owner.
    

• • ARTICLE II Subsection (e) - Legislative members are eligible only if they are in good standing with the server rules, have played the server for at least 24 hrs..
    

ARTICLE III - Mods, OPs, and other Administrators.. Mods shall not serve concurrently as a legislative member




ARTICLE IV - The Rights of Players shall not be abridged. A player must be present to vote on any election.
