Hardware:Server from BisectHosting located in Montreal, Canada (EST) (Warning: I don't know how the connection fares for EU players, but it should be stable for US/CAN players.)
Taken from Bisect's website: "We utilize Dual Xeon CPUs, DDR3 ECC RAM and solid state drive on all of our nodes. (unless otherwise stated) We also make sure that the CPU usage never exceeds 70% during peak hours."
All you have to do is fill out an application on the website and have the modpack downloaded so that you can start playing. The goal of the server is to create and organized and modern society with some RP elements such as the Governor position who can write legislation, the Supreme Judge, you gets to decide the punishment of guilty criminals, and businessmen who get to own various businesses and make money from them. Anyone can be any of these positions and can shape the direction of the server as they see fit. So join and see what we're all about.
We need creative and active players in order for the server to evolve and be more fun. The more people there are, the more trading there is, the more politics there are, the more potential criminals there are, and the more fun that everyone has. So please feel free to join or ask questions about it or anything. (You can PM me on here or on the website and I'll be more than happy to answer!)
You will require a computer that can run the Feed The Beast Infinity Evolved 2.2.2 modpack. This means either modding your client yourself or downloading the FTB Launcher and running it from there. Installation instructions are here: http://bit.ly/1EGUMPz

So for the past two months, the server has been set strictly in survival mode. We've accomplished quite a lot in these past two months, but some things need to be finished so we can continue to add more aspects into the server itself. For this reason, I have to decided to promote Vanish_Override to Head Architect. He is responsible for building government infrastructure, managing and enforcing the Building Code, and dealing with Land Requests. We're using creative mode to get these projects done so we can do more things in a quicker manner.
We also added two mods to the server, RoadWorks and LATL and the links to these can be found on the Installation Instructions post. We also plan to add Flan's mod as well as Fex's Cars, a content pack that adds functional cars to the server. We hope that this will promote the use of cars and vehicles as a means of transportation on the server compared to walking, or even jetpacking around.
Another tweak we made was removing the restriction of where your land can be. You can now claim land anywhere within the world border, since you can't go beyond the world border. So you can claim land out in the country side and we'll run roads and railways our to you land, creating a little mini outpost on the frontier for you. We hope these changes will also promote the use of a public railroad for the transportation of materials and people to and from the city.
On a final note, I would like to give three reminders. One, this is technically a roleplay server. Even though we have laws to enforce, that does not necessarily mean you have to follow them. Just know that there are penalties for breaking laws (all in RP context of course). Second, if you refer active players to the Server and they pay 2 weeks worth of taxes and stay active, both you and that player will receive a 20000 Cr bonus. We need players to have a great experience. The more players we get the more fun the server will be. Finally, please remember to vote for the server on PMC and minecraft-server, and leave an honest review on the FTB page if you haven't done so already. These things are very important for increasing the server's exposure to new players.
