I don't know what bad packet that could be. I am running fine on it. Also try connecting with:

play.randomocraft.net:25706

If this doesn't work, I expect it is a Spigot bug. Most of my friends could join except one who had the same problem. I'll submit a bug report to spigot soon :)

Make sure you have the ip and port correct. I had a restart pretty much exactly when you posted that.
