Retrinity

Been a while since we have had any updated for the server, so
this time we have decided to make the largest update ever released on
Retrinity! We are not far away from going out of Beta now!




The Secret World



Note: This world will not replace the normal one. This is an extra world.




The thing you have all been waiting for is finally here! After a lot
of work we will finally be releasing the secret world. You will need
adventurer (or a higher rank) to be able to teleport to this world,
however it will be worth going there. This world is (for now) a normal
Minecraft survival world, but with a twist.




This world will be re-generated every few weeks, so do not
bring your chests over here. Hostile mobs will be way harder in this
world than in the normal world. They will have more health, have special
abilities and be stronger. However, they will drop double exp in this
world. We will not go into detail about the abilities the mobs have, but
grabbing a few ender pearls with you won’t hurt.




Mining in this world will benefit you a lot more than in the normal
world. When you mine ores here, you will get way more exp than in the
normal world, as well as the normal drops. By mining here, you will find
caves and mines that are re-generated every few weeks, so you will
always have a place to mine.




The faction plugin will also be disabled here, so you cannot claim any land here.




Catacombs



In the new world, you can find something called the catacombs. These
are cobblestone buildings, with a passage down to the catacombs inside
of them. The catacombs will contain a lot of mobs, but they will have
great loot in them. You can not break any blocks here, and you can not
place blocks here (except from torches).



Mobs inside of the catacombs will also have the same abilities as mobs everywhere else in this world.



There was something with mossy cobblestone too, but can’t seem to remember what (???).










Tab List and Nametags



You guys have probably noticed that our tab-list does not look as
good. Some names have been replaced with just tags, and it’s not really
looking good in general.



With the new update, you will be able to see people’s faction tag and
names. Donators and staff members will have their tags showing too.



*in the tab-list this is disabled for normal players due to a bug*



The faction the players are in can also be seen under their names,
and donators and staff members will have their tags showing in their
nametags.











New Messages



Our boring death messages have now been replaced with nicer looking,
and some funny ones. When people die, you will now see custom death
messages for everything. We have also put in a few funny ones, and a few
references in there too. There is more than one death message for most
deaths, so you will see different message every time you die (well,
until you have used all of the different messages).



We have also changed the join and leave message on the server, so it looks a bit nicer.



If you can come up with any (funny) death messages, feel free to create a thread about it on the forums!




PvP Arena



We have finally released the PvP arena. You can teleport to it by doing /warp pvp.

• Due to bugs, the pets (donator feature) has been disabled. Will be back soon.
