History
The server was founded in August of 2011, as a small server for the owner and his friends. They started advertising to fill up the two remaining slots, and quickly realized that the server was becoming really popular. 1st of January 2012, they had to get a forum for keeping things in order, and the server expanded as the playerbase slowly grew bigger. Today, the forums have over 500 members, and that's pretty extreme for a 25-slot server.
Demographics
The goal of the server is to provide players of all ages, ranging from 8 years to over 60, the freedom and creativity of singleplayer minecraft, but together with other people in a safe and stable environment. We have a wide selections of boys and girls, parents playing with their kids, married couples, siblings, friends, and other people looking for a friendly group of people to play with. The plugins installed on the server is lightweight, and doesn't interfere with the vanilla gameplay other than keeping your stuff safe from griefers.
The Server
The main focus is to play vanilla *survival* minecraft, but if you are active enough to become regular, you can go into the *Creative* world to build pixel-art, build a huge skyscraper or plan out your Survival projects. You can bring a friend and play the custom made *Adventure* map, which is built mainly by BlackSheep_86 and spetznack, with the help of some other builders. Or you can enter the *Games* world, which features redstone-based minigames, like *tic-tac-toe*, *whack-a-player*, *PVP-arena* or even *russian roulette*! All 100% automatic, you can do it anytime you want.
