Long ago, four cats ventured into what is known as Silent Forest. Three of which divided the territory and created three clans, living together in harmony. Reef Trout, founder of ReefClan, created the clan for cats who specialized in swimming. Whispering Caves founded WhisperClan, a clan that lives in the shadows and caves. Rustling Heather chose to found HeatherClan, to live on the moor and hunt in the meadows.
The fourth cat, though, disappeared, and no one has seen her since. Beyond the borders are Outcasts, who don't follow the warrior code nor do they have any moral. There are some cats who live the lavish life beside Twolegs, called Kittypets.
