What is SkyHive?

SkyHive is a small minecraft network that is slowly expanding. We launched originally as just a survival server and then we progressed and added skyblock recently which is still in public alpha and actively being worked on!

We feel the server is in a state where we can open the server to public 'alpha / beta testing'.

In the near future we are looking to add gamemodes like Prisons and other gamemodes that are community voted in.

SkyHive took the approach this year to develop our own internal standard

Below are just a couple of things we have been working on!
  • Dropped the less professional .xyz domain and moved to .gg
  • Dropped the subdomain play. and moved the server IP to just the domain, making it easier for people to remember.
  • Working on redundancy, our hubs and lobbies nd proxies are looking to held in the UK while our gamemodes to be held in Germany.
  • Investment in infrastructure, presently our game is run on Ryzen 5 3600s 64GB RAM and HW Raid 1 for our NVME solution.
